Pony ID Help G3 Cherry Blossom hard plastic sitting figurine?

Hi, I have an identification question again. Today I went to the charity shop and found this stuff. A hard plastic sitting Cherry Blossom key chain (?) with a medal that opens. Inside is hollow. There is written "My Little Pony" and Hasbro 2007. I looked up on the wiki and the merch database, but I couldn't find it. Maybe a candy holder or something like this? Can someone identify this item?

I found a similar looking one that calls it a lollipop holder but it’s not the exact same one so I’m not sure. It’s a cool find though!

I came to think about is a bit, the opening could be used to put your toothbrushes and/or toothpaste.. But then the loop on the top makes no sense.
It is hard but we'll find it !
This could well be a candy storage thingy as well
 
Yeh, it definitely would fit as a candy dispenser !
Hard plastic, an easy opening & easy to spot, the loop.. yep, I can't see it being something else :sleepy:

G3 does have a lot of weird merch !
And I definitely want that big gumball machine with the pony on top

Thanks everyone for the guesses. :satisfied: I also think it may be a candy dispenser. And it may be an European merch as well. I am also in Europe, however, I can't recall what kind of merch were sold in Hungary during the run of G3. (I know only the McDonald's toys and recently found two G3 Play-Doh stamps, but I am sure there were more, like many cartoon and animation-related merch were around.) Interesting that there is no other company name but Hasbro. So still a mystery! :lolpony:

I know they produce a lot of merch, mainly G4 but maybe they did some for the g3 ?

please do! there were only cherry blossom & royal bouquet then? no others? seems odd but eh lol
 
I love how the charm that came with g3 ponies is molded onto this pony dispenser! :happyhearts:

It was a typical open candy box with them seated in rows, and I recall only those two...weird both have Cherry Blossom's symbol. There could easily be more :)
