As an animator I love seeing these, most of the weird frames are called 'in betweens' because they're quicker frames that go between the main images 'keyframes'. Nowadays with modern animation computers can auto-fill in some in betweens but in hand drawn animation every weird frame was deliberately drawn by hand and I think that's beautiful
