My sister and I went to the Mississippi Comic Con today, and I found three new G1 girls for my herd. I managed to find a Posey, Sweet Stuff, and Yum Yum.
Yum Yum is in fairly decent condition: dirty and tangled hair, but for the most part, okay. Sweet Stuff and Posey, on the other hand, weren't so lucky. They both have mohawks, so they're going to need to be rehaired, plus are going to need a good bath.
I'm going to purchase the hair from Dolly Hair, so first, I want to be sure about the colors I need. According to the My Little Pony Hair Color Matching Guide, I'll need Pussycat for Posey and Wisteria, Heartthrob, Pussycat, and Virgin Snow for Sweet Stuff. Do these colors seem right?
Second, how much of the hair do you put into a multi-colored tail? Up to this point, I've only done a tail redo that only used one color.
Third, I'd like for you guys to look at my gallery of pics I took of them to see if there's any potential issues I may have with cleaning. There some spots that kind of look like pony cancer, but I'm not familiar enough with it to be able to tell on my own.
Here's the gallery for those interested. Any advice will be appreciate.
