Hello everyone! It looks like I registered here quite some time ago but never made a proper introduction post. Better late than never, I guess. :)

My name is Lauren, I'm 31 years old and I've been a fan of My Little Pony since the '80s. The toys were a big part of my childhood and I fondly remember the excitement whenever I would receive a new pony during Christmas or my birthday. I also adored the heck out of the '86 movie. I've lost count as to how many times I've seen it. :) Right now I'm trying to re-start my G1 collection and am extremely happy to see some new G1 merchandise popping up alongside G4. My favorite ponies are Bowtie, Fizzy, Gusty, Sweet Stuff, Twilight, and Wind Whistler.

Welcome to the board, Lauren! It's so nice to meet you. Do you have any of your old herd left or are you starting from the ground up? It's always delightful that some of us manage to keep our old Ponies!
 
Thank you so much! ^^ As a matter of fact, I've been cleaning out my attic and I managed to find all my ponies I had since I was a child. I was thrilled since I thought I had given them away years ago. I'm also trying to collect any G1s I can find in their original boxes. The problem is they're all so expensive! I've also got my eye on a few mail-order ponies too which, thankfully, are a little more in my price range.

Huzzah! I'm so glad you located them! So many of us end up giving them away (or our beloved mums do it without our knowledge) so it's always lovely to hear someone managed to hold onto theirs. It's definitely an expensive endeavour to locate mint/boxed Ponies, but sometimes bargains can be found for the patient shopper. I wish you well!
