Yeah it was done: Laparoscopy and I kinda freaked out when I woke up from surgery. Before you know it I was out like a light and woke up pretty quickly afterwards and don't remember anything that happened. Good thing was that I got to leave shortly after the surgery and got a lot of rest once I got home. Tried to lay down in my bed but I could lay all the way back cause it ached so much when I tried to lay all the way back.
Thank you for wishing me luck. Slowly I'm coming back to myself, which I'm thankful for. Now I have to withdrawal from the pain medication which is a drag. Continue to keep getting these painful headaches for some odd reason. Hopefully they'll end up passing cause headaches are something I don't deal with well. The scars are barely visible and they're small but I'm sure they'll be gone over time. Thanks for all the warm wishes!!
Apparently I woke up from it and asked if I was alive LOL. But like you, I also didn't have to stay too long at the hospital, which was nice.
Part of the pain I hadn't expected was that during the procedure, they inflate your abdomen with gas, and not all of it gets out before they're done, so it actually rises through your tissues and for me, ended up in my
shoulders. Unexpectedly painful, but it only lasted about two to three days, for me. I stopped taking the prescription pain killers after about 4 days, since I just don't tolerate them well anyway and was happy to be rid of them.
Headaches could be related to the anesthetic, or some medications, from what I understand. I would definitely make your doctor/surgeon aware of it either way, especially if you're concerned. And um... be aware of the digestive issues that (very normally) happen after a cholesystectomy. That's all I'm gonna say.

Keep feeling better!
