Hello all!

Longtime pony lover here. Mom bought me "Blossom" around '84, she quickly became my favorite and "the fastest" pony in the group. Unfortunately, at some point as I got older, my childhood ponies were "lost" in a move. :rolleyes:

I decided in my twenties I wanted to recover and collect the ones I had as a kid, this of course extended beyond that! I've been collecting G1's and G3's for about 9-10yrs now. As life happened, I fell away from collecting for a few years.

However, I recently found a bag of ponies in a drawer that I had purchased and never got around to cleaning. I did that the other day, and soon found myself back at the antique mall shopping for more a few days later and was excited to find a pile of great deals! I came back to MLPTP and did some research and went back a SECOND time to purchase more after realizing I couldn't let them go!

This has reignited my excitement! :) I'm waiting on doll hair order to begin my next batch of restorations. I can't wait!!

Welcome to the board! I'm much like you, I fell away from collecting for a bit then got sucked right back in. Once Ponies have their hooves on your heart, you simply can't escape! :D

I'd love to see some of your restorations and rehairs! Will you show them off to us?

Welcome to the forum^^ I am the same I can't leave ponies on the shelves if I can buy them in good price :D luckily I won't see them in the wild so often so my money is safe ;) (for now)
