G3 How to fix Styling Star Catcher?

I've been trying to get all the Star Catchers because she's probably my favorite G3 and I found the perfect styling one.

I know she's a color changing toy and everything, but is there a way to remove the pink? Or is that something that just happens over the years with color changing toys?

While I have yet to try it myself (I am not a G3 collector) you could live a sunlight sensitive powder pigment a try. I would use this with a mixture of clear matt mod podge on top of a layer of white paint and you should be able to get the same effect back again.

Unfortunately from all I've seen and read there is no solution other than painting her.

On MLP Presevation Project, it suggested acetone but that feels really risky to me but on this place (link) it looks like they reset it?
If your Star Catcher’s coat isn’t broken, could you somehow turn her back to white?

I too really like Star Catcher but one day I will have one as well
