How to fix sun burn?

Please, if there is any way to fix sun burn, let me know. I’m absolutely devastated and heartbroken. I left her near the window where the sun hits in the morning and forgot about her as I was planning to clean her up. Her plastic turned black/brown ish. Is there any hope for her? What can I do? Will sun fading with vol 40 work?

So, may I ask, what has you convinced that this pony is sunburned?
Her marks look as though they are more on the surface but, perhaps I’m missing something here.
Have you tried wiping her with a damp cloth to see if those marks are removable?
If you’ve done this step, have you tried going over it with a magic eraser? If you haven’t, that’s what I recommend - be very careful to not scrub her eyes with the magic eraser as it can take the paint off her face.

hello!! thank u sm for ur reply! unfortunately yes i have tried the magic eraser, cleansing baby wipes, and gentle toy cleaning spray. when she arrived her face was completely fine but i left her next to a window that gets direct sunlight every morning, for a week is there any hope?

ok scratch everything i just said. i just noticed her face WAS like that in the listing lol, im so embarrassed!! i could’ve SWORN her face was fine. well, anyways, is there anything that can be done?

No, it’s ok - you’re fine. Similar stuff has surely happened to all of us some time or another.

I don’t actually understand why the magic eraser didn’t work. Dawn dishsoap, and a toothbrush are my best friends - then magic eraser, then if none of that works, acetone (super carefully).

Let me know if any of that helps.
