Hi there,

er... that doesn't look like cancer. that looks like just normal markings, like from crayons or markers or pens. acetone (which is in nail polish remover) will remove most "surface" marks like that.

brown cancer is more of a discoloration of the plastic itself, and appears in round spots rather than streaks.

Yes, Diet - you took the words right out of my mouth. 8)

EDIT: Ahh, I forgot to add that the hospital pic is just adorable! *squeee* :D

Well is not markers or crayons, I have her since "96 and she never have crossed whit one of those, unless they where scratches (whit the others ponies in the bag, but the others don't have them)

Her cancer just appear a while ago, she was in a plastic bag whit that Serena in the pic, she had cancer too, but the dark pink one, I boil her and it disappear.

She's much better know....

Opss secondary effects....

(the brush and grow are the exorcist ponies, pull they tail and EKK!!!

okay, but.. it's not .. cancer. Pony cancer is discoloration going through the plastic. You could take off the head and see the marks going all the way through. Those looked like scratches to me. A lot of substances rub off that way, it isn't just crayon. And you could have used nearly anything to clean it off..

Hi there,

Seeing as hasbro didn't even bother to learn from their mistakes about the metal tail washer, I'm sure they didn't take any precautions to avoid mold and plastic deterioration!

Heh... actually, recently they have gotten rid of the metal tail washers. They use plastic ones now, but I'd rather have prefered the metal over the plastic any day, the way they have it. They use this glue stuff to hold the plastic ones in place (seeing as they aren't as strong as the metal ones were) and as a result, the base of almost every recent G3 now has a bunch of hard (sometimes sharp) glue caked in the base of their tail.

Sometimes Hasbro can be such nimrods - it just makes me want to throw-up. >_<

EDIT: Eeep Diet - you beat me to it! LOL!

cause of cancer?

Oh, I sold my Butterscotch last year (my very first pony ever!) and she was so lovely when she left, but when she arrived several states away she had cancer. The new owner opened her up, and I think when I washed her some water and maybe even soap got inside and seemed to "mold up" while she was shipped. I could have cried. Her new owner took the best care of her, but I still feel SO BADLY. I hope she had the intensive care that your pony got in that adorable hospital!

The operation looked good though and I LOVE the bedside photo.
