Beautiful, you did a great job!!
Guest, The MLPTP's Fundraiser and Prize Giveaway will be returning on June 1st! Check out this thread for all the latest news!
I'm so glad you're pleased with the result As you know, she gave me the most difficult time of any custom I've ever done...
When I was first sculpting her base, one of the big storms suddenly came up the coast and knocked out our electricity, so I had no choice but to let the apoxie cure as it was, chunky and uneven and unsmoothed. After that, I had to use my dremel and hand sand away ALL of the excess.. which took weeks.
This was after my first attempt with apoxie that didn't set properly and ended up in a crumbly consistency that I couldn't use.
Then, when I went to do her skin tone, two of my paints didn't mix properly (I think one was just old) and as she dried, she looked like she had some kind of disease. So, stripped all that away and started again......
All in all though it was a labor of love and I definitely learned a lot from it. I really hope your friend likes her!
