I really want to use a G2 for a custom, but how would I rehair her? I'm assuming if I pop her head off, it won't come back on, since they are made of such hard plastic. Any one have any suggestions?

Hmm, never actually took the head off any of the G2s. I suppose if you created a way to put the head back on, it could be done. It's too bad the heads are so small though, it could be a major pain threading the hair through. :\

I know it can be done.. Ive seen the results of others, but I'm afraid I have no clue how...

Yep, should be possible. I have one in need of a rehair myself, and what I plan to do is feed a long doll rehairing needle eye-first through the neck, not going all the way through, mind, just enough to get the eye to hang out of the neck hole. Then I'll thread the hair through the eye of the needle and use my pliers to pull it back out. That's my modus operandi for flutter ponies.

My real problem is going to be getting the old hair out.

Edit: And yes, you can get the heads back on, unless it's the type that are moveable. They're made just like the G1s and G3s with the neck ring, only smaller and harder.

How are those moveable types made, anyone know? : 0-J Not that any of mine will be getting new hair right now...it's not nearly that frizzy, heh.

Yeah, I've done it before. Just yank really hard, or I think I ran it under hot water for a few seconds to warm the plastic up so that I could get the head back on. I used the threading a thin wire through the holes for the hair since the neck is so small.
