So, I own a unicorn that, sadly, always makes me think of Marla Hanson. Ever see a great pony with a bad haircut? This is the opposite. There is even a mark that turns puke or possibly poop colored under U.V. light. Is it okay to customize this? I see her on sale on eBay for $45.00 in good condition, so I assume she isn't that rare....plus, I have a really nice Silverswirl.

I know "one doesn't simply ...customize a G2 unicorn," but I think a restoration would involve more work, skill and, especially, foreign materials added than customization at this point. Poor thing. What do you think? Does this Silverswirl have a silver lining, in that it is, in fact, a customizable G2 uni?

Of course she’s ok to customize, she’s your pony
Highlighter, other stains, missing paint on the horn and what looks like a chewed on front hoof definitely sounds like custom bait to me

I'll take that as a "go ahead" the poop(?) mark really bothers me, and doesn't come out with any normal method. Have not tried acetone, because I didn't want to mess up a symbol I could never replicate, but now she is going into the customs pile.

Its totally up to you, shes yours! Its what makes you happy. However, she is pretty hard to get even in bad condition. Even though $45 isnt anything compared a $600 pony, $45 is still massively unattainable to a lot of people myself included. I've kinda come to terms that shes a pony I'll never be able to own. Not saying that as any sort of pressure, just shining light in two different directions! Its your pony, we cant tell you what to do.

@Lilykin , you an ancient Chinese philosopher.
I don't know about that lol, but I have had to deal with downsizing my grandparents' houses and deceased relatives estates. Not to be a downer, but most of your surviving relatives will not care about your belongings beyond either a) it having sentimental value to them or b) it being worth something. Even if it's something you're saving for them, that's no guarantee they'll want or use it.

So, just like I'd rather see my granma enjoy using her fine china than saving it for me, I'd much rather see folks enjoying their ponies how they want over some potential future owner.
