lol starrby has a birthday candle ._. ^^

Yeah...when I went looking for candles that could be carried inconspicuously in a pocket, my choices were limited. I found pink birthday candles, some candles that look like crayons, and the letters A, L, and E in brightly colored rainbow wax. XD

They were all such...interesting...candles I couldn't decide, so I let my brother pick.

All the mausoleums I've seen in this area are family-owned and kept locked. I think I found a public one. Can't check it out 'til tomorrow morning, though. If it doesn't work out, I'll have to improvise for sneaky points.

I liked this one 'cause all it cost us was a little gas! I even had a candle with me but my husband forgot his lighter at home. I hope that Ivey works in place for Ivy, I saw a couple of Ruby's but neither had flowers with their plaque.

I hope to get a picture tomorrow.
My grandmom is in an outside ones. I was going to get my picture with her but, I'm told she is on the tippy top & would need a step stool to get up to her.
I'll have to find someone else.

My hubby joking he hopes we dont bring a ghost home with us. LOL

so I found out from my brother tonight that its just Babyland right now; I guess they had some people taking pics of others childs graves so they have asked people not to take pics (which I understand)

Sadly I cant do this step, the cemetaries are closed now (and are gated in) and I work tomorrow and this step will end before I get off *shakes fist at work*

It was soo windy when I went, nearly impossible to keep the candle lit. I'm in front of a tomb for Glore (=Glory?) but I added in Peacock pony for fun. I also found a Pinky. And a Marstella, so close to being the Italian Seapony...

I found one "Ivy" somewhere, and I took these other pics of pony names:

It was right by the entrance and it was gonna be the closest thing if I didn't find open mausoleums or anything else.

Ruby - but she didn't have flowers directly on hers. My boyfriend said we could just swap flowers for a little bit, and I said that was a big no no.

well i'm probaly not going to get any points for this. there aren't really any mosleums like that around here-they're more of Family Crypts that are outdoors. See, in VT we burry people in the ground-silly i know...or we through them in the quarry ^^;; would i get extra points if i climbed down there? :lol:

anyways...it was pouring rain. and the ceetary was on the OTHER side of town and my mom took MB to a test in NY (evil ACT) so Gravcie and i walked in the pouring rain to the cemetary. No pony names anywhere sadly...but we did get to take pictures at the Town Founder's family Mosoleum. And the stupid candle wouldn't work...ok the matches wouldn't work. And itr was so cold and wet out...poor Reaper Pony, i'm srry i dragged you out for peobably no reason

I had to go sneaky with this one

First I put off doing this as I was hoping I would make it off island to go to Bangor (didn't happen) And of course today was super rainy and windy which is why my hood's up, lol. The closest thing I could find were family plots and none of them had pony names. I picked this one as it had a border so it was kind of just them (yes I know, grasping at straws). Yhe monument thingie was neat too, it's the only dark one in the graveyard. There were flowers and thank god for votive candles: a normal one would never had stayed lit in all this wind!

Couldnt find a pony name at all. Heck, I couldnt even find my Grandmom. How sad is that.
Boy, was it raining hard.

oh i forgot to mention that me and Gracie think that there was a funeral going on in one of the 4 churches we passed too ^^; there were alot of out of state plates and they were all dressed up so yeah.... ^^;

so we were playing with ponys in a cemetary when there wasa funeral maybe coming. and we had a candle and we were going to dress up as Reapers but it was too wet...

Such a tough decision for me! Found 'Lily' but there was an extra 'l' D = I loved how that one turned out, and it was an INSIDE one! But I wanted to be safe so I used 'Katie'...and since we went so far away to find that one...and I found ponies at a peddler's mall afterward!

The first take (and first cemetery), the look on my face is because my legs are failing, heh.

The second cemetery and try. The one that I would have LOVED to use because of the window reflection and such...

It was an interesting day.
