I am so excited to share this with all of you! My niece's 9th birthday is this coming Saturday and she is having a MLP sleep over. I am making the four hour drive to attend her birthday party, AS A SURPRISE! She doesn't know I'm coming and is going to be super excited when I show up! (We have a bit of an aunt/niece hero worship going on as I am a dance teacher and she loves to dance, and I am a MLP collector and she is obsessed with MLP... you get the idea.)

So her mom and I have been secretly making all kinds of party plans that will be a surprise to Mercy for her party. One of the things I am bringing down with me are these awesome nail art water slides from Lush Nail Art (http://www.lushnailart.com/). They just arrived! Look how adorable they are!

I will update after the party and let you all know how they worked. I've never used anything like this before, so we'll see if they are at all dummy-proof. Yay for a pony party!!!

Update:

Here is a photo of my nails done with AJ on them! I'm not much of one for wearing nail polish, but for ponies, I'll try anything once. We'll see how long they last - I'm pretty hard of my hands. I LOVE the way they look. I'm really tempted to buy more...

There is really quite a learning curve to these babies, so if anyone ends up buying some to try, send me a PM and I'll tell you all I have learned!

AW! That is so SWEET! Your niece is going to flip with joy when she sees you. What a great idea for a surprise!

YAYS!!

Rock-on! That will be sweet! Excellent birthday idea!

What a lovely idea, those are gorgeous, she will love them

Those are cute! Do you use them on top of nail polish or just on top of the nail?

The directions say that you can do either? You cut them out and let each one soak in water for about 20 seconds, then it's supposed to slide off the backing. I think you have to at least put a clear coat over top after you apply it to the nail, in order to keep it on.

Those are super cute! I'd have to do something like that on my toes because I'm a yucky ol' fingernail biter though. If I put them on my hands I'd forget then I'd be chewing off some poor Pony's head. The guilt would be tremendous!

Aren't they adorable?! I don't know about your toe nails... but aside from my big toe, mine don't really have much space for little ponies to live on... If you were going to do your toe nails, I would suggest getting the children's sizes. They are smaller and you'd have a better chance getting them to fit on your little piggies. :)

Hadn't thought of that as I possess kid sized feet as it is. Which is awesome, kids' shoes are cuter! Probably not worth doing anything purdy to mah tootsies though as my bare feet are usually tramping around horse pastures. It would be kinder to just use the decals as stickers.

Cute! They turned out really cool!

I'd buy these and then use them on false nails (as I'm also a lifelong nail biter). I never have to acetone the false nails off, they just come off by themselves after a few days, so I can keep them and even reuse them if there isn't a lot of glue buildup.

Love Them!!!! Yay, for pony nail art:D Do let us all know what they say about the G1 nail art please?
I don't bite my nails as I am one of the 'lucky' people with nails so hard that it's impossible to bite them! And they grow like grass too! Downside to that is they do go soft when working in water or having a bath and go back to rock hard pretty quickly after, so nail polish seems to just pop off of the tips after a day:( But I do decorate my toe nails though as they keep nail polish for much longer. Just a french manicure with a decal on the big toe is subtle and pretty, which suits my style. I have quite a few nail art decals of flowers and stars, moons ect, but CAN'T WAIT to try pony ones!:D;)

Those are cute! My nails couldn't handle them as my hands take a lot of abuse sanding, painting, gardening, and home repair.

Cute!! Good thing you practiced so you'll look like a pro at your niece's party :D

YOU BITE UR NAILS TOO?! I thought I was the only one!

Yep!I chew 'em off like they were delicious candy. It's a form of cannibalism, I'm sure! NOM NOM NOM!
