Why does it seem like I'm the only one after these? I won FIVE! in the same night in three auctions.. the cheapest being "Neon Lights" which went for $9.99 WITH shipping.

I now own (all MOC, mind you)..

1.) Argentine sweat suit.. looks like the one from mom/baby wear.. (think I got this from ThirteenSpiders?)
2.) Birthday wear, US release
3.) Flashprance, Canadian English/French release
4.) Baby pony/pocket pals: snowsuit and red dress, US
5.) Baby Pony/pocket pals: bunny and pink dress, US
6.) Baby Pony/pocket pals: dragon and blue sundress, US
7.) Neon Lights, US Release

again, why am I the only one after these right now? man, prices are fluctuating very strangely..

MOC Ponywear prices don't generally go very high. I have a huge stack (mostly UK releases) and the most I paid was $18, which was for one of the rarer ones.

I think there are less collectors, and also there were more of them left over. Those prices sound about usual.

I always found it quite hard to get excited about Ponywear in comparison to the ponies, so I know I only snap it up if it's MOC and super-cheap.

I do not specifically collect ponywear, however I have ended up with 10 sets of MOC ponywear over the years. Most of these have been part of trades where I said I'd trade for anything I don't already have. They are cute, but I never intentionlly collected them. :)

There are just a lot of them out there. If people don't really like the clothes and accessories, they never open the packages. Then they sell them thinking they can get good money for something still sealed on original card. True, but there just isn't that huge of a demand for them.

I got some of the costume wear still here MOC that no one really wants to buy. Of course, back in the day when I got them, they went for about $30-$45 EACH MOC, now I can't get anything close to that...actually one Abra-Ca-Dabra went for $75, so I thought I got a great deal getting all 6 for whatever I paid! They may go back up someday, but with all the people finding all the loose pieces in their kids' Barbie clothes, and people searching at flea markets more loose stuff if out there. MOC just aren't as 'rare' as they once were.

I collect MOC ponywear, but I only buy it if it's cheap. And of Course If I don't have it already. The Stuff makes great wall papaer.

Since there are so few MOC Ponywear collectors, most already have the common stuff and it goes for next to nothing. Only a few sets are harder to find, and that would some of the Megan and Pony wear, and Some of the Play and wear set.
