My Little Pony *FAIL* thread!

It was Epic Fail for Hasbro in the US. I say it officially counts!

G3-P0s. Heh. I like it! More like G3-P00s. :bonk:
 
*shrug* I was a little girl when they came out so they were the ponies I have memories of.
 
My fail was at a flea market in 1999 when I first got back into ponies. I had never seen a baby boy in clippers pose, so when I found clipper for .25, i passed him up thinking he was fake or cabbage patch :( I have TONS of fails since then! Will try to post them as they come back to memory :)


OH! I remember watching a lot of ponies on ebay and I decided to pass because it had a birthflower pony in it, well it was dyed pink, so I thought Custom Bait! I was trying to aquire the full set of birthflower ponies and decided to pass since it was "flawed".........it was an alt. birthflower :( The lot went so cheap to! (this was back in the day when you could get 100+ ponies for 50.00 including shipping lol)

ETA: 1st time customizing, I didnt know how to re-root so I sliced the ponies head from the start of the plugs to the end, and crammed some curly hair in it and super glued it shut.........so embarrassing.

I had a quite recent fail. Preordered comic con two face pony f/ a guy on ebay for like $45 thinking I should get ahead of the game and get her before she skyrockets like the 2007 pony. Now she's selling on Hasbro's site for for $14.99. Crapolios I tells ya!
 
Big custom fail : never dip a pony's body in polyurethane thinking the excess will run off. Bad idea :(
