Just found these on the trademark site (http://www.uspto.gov/main/trademarks.htm, click "Search Trademarks", then "New User Form", then type in Hasbro and Pony in "Search Term" and change Field to "All".):

i wonder what that live/dead codes are for in the trademark page. wow there are still so many names that are in there that are not yet used.

And is hasbro really that hard up for names? Brights Brightly? Tulip Twinkle?! I'm sorry but tulips don't twinkle! How much you want to bet it's a jewel pony of some sort and they needed to tie in the gem to her name :roll: And Whistle Wishes, how many ponies are there now that have wishes in their names?

Cherrilee sounds cute:) I'm glad they shortened Cherries Jubilee cause I had a heck of a time remembering that one as a kid, lol. And yay for Tiddly Wink and Silver Glow:)

Lookin through the TM list, there's still bunches of ponies we haven't seen yet....

Cabana Rain, La-di-Da, Song Star, Wish Catcher, Ringlette, Sundance, Breezie Dreams, Silver Skates, Cloud Puff, Coconut Kisses, Honey Dew, Skip-to-my-loo, Wind Drifter, Blushing blue, Puddin Pie, Picnicity, Grand Finale, Whistle Toe, Cactus Flower, Light Heart, Green Apple, and peachy keen to name a few;)

I can't wait till the new ponies come out this fall!

Oh no, Dibble Dabble was THE worst pony name!! *barfs* I've renamed her... um, I have yet to do that. And what kind of a name is 'Rarity'?! Most of those are pathetic names, however, I LIKE Tulip Twinkle, I think it's cute. Weren't there glowing ponies coming out, some of those names seem associated with glowing/bright things... Tulip Twinkle, how cute!
 
I agree, like in one of the other posts where someone got to talk to the Hasbro reps and they said there werent going to be many pegs "because they wanted them to be special" so Rarity will probably be like 1 of 3 that we ever see. Or 1 a year or less, something like that. I think a G3 unicorn will look silly (look at all the greif that Coconut Grove got) but I DO love Unicorns, so we'll see

LMAO!! YES I agree. And with the duplicate names, I think they're trying to confuse us. Minty, Cloud Puff, Tidly Winks, Applejack. Hmm. I dont like the singsong names. Tra-la-la, La-De-Da etc. They sound like something that should be on some Super Duper Kid show. I know these are ment to be for young girls, but they KNOW there are tons of us out there

they are probably wanting to test the sales of rarity and if they don't get enough sales of her, there won't be other unicorns.. Kind of like Star Catcher. I think it was to test the waters.

i think it's rather silly that they would need to "test the waters" with pegs or unis. both have been staples of girls' fantasy toys for DECADES. dive in the deep end, hasbro!
