G1 Pearlized pony cleaning question

Found a Pearlized Baby Blossom at the thrift store today. I typically use magic erasers to get the gunk off thrift store ponies, but I wondered if the pearl finish is something painted on top of the pony that I need to be careful with?

Yea i would suspect so :O I would just gently wash with a soft cloth and not a magic eraser. Im sure someone else can add more input!

I would hand wash with some antibacterial soap. Magic Eraser would strip off the finish.
