G4 Possibly missing or stolen "Midnight Mares" plush shipment found today at a thrift store!

UPDATE: Creator has been found and is arranging pickup of a big lost batch of their merchandise! YAY!

Hi everyone,

I have found several entire boxes of unopened Midnight Mares (www.MidnightMares.com) plush at my local thrift store today, and I'm wondering if a merchandise shipment of theirs has gone missing, since they seem to have only one retailer.

I am concerned these boxes may have been previously lost or stolen. I purchased several of the plush loose, but could not recover entire boxes.

If you know the person who runs Midnight Mares or their merchandise team, please have them get in touch with me ASAP if they would like me to help recover these goods before the store sells them all. They told me they were putting out more boxes of them tomorrow.

I’m so glad you were able to get in contact with them! I tried with my own contacts I have in the Brony side of things but nobody was actually in contact with them and I don’t have Facebook. They’ve been trying to get their very neat animated project off the ground since 2014 so I just assumed there was a possibility it was dead stock they had donated themselves. XD

Understandable theory, though those custom-made embroidered and heavily accessorized plush must have cost a fortune to make. I was doubtful from the beginning that anyone would just donate something that was so intricately and expensively made. I'm so relieved to have found the creator and that they're working on getting them back. What a weird thing to happen in my own backyard!
