Does anyone else have a tendency to just not buy some of the little everyday items? For instance, I have my dream pony list, right? In real life this is my actual wishlist <warning it’s kinda pathetic, lol)

push broom
moss off
electric can opener
a rug for my room
vacuum cleaner filters for my new vacuum
dog treats and toys
12” non-stick frying pan
hose nozzle

there’s a few more, but you understand, right?
Who else has an ‘odd little household items they keep putting off’ list?
 
I feel so seen. :rofl:

I need:
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • More trash bags
  • Food (I've got enough for now, but I'm due for a grocery trip)
  • Detergent
  • Soy milk (my grandparents insisted on getting some for me, but they ultimately got almond milk because "It's pretty much the same thing, right?" and like,,, they both taste good to me, I'd never complain about free groceries, so I'm deeply grateful, but NO THEY ARE NOT THE SAME)
  • Cat food (I've recently taken in my older cat who's been staying with my mom, and three cats go through food a lot faster than two cats do, oh my God)
  • A VPN subscription (I want TunnelBear because they're vocal about Black rights AND they have cute bears, but I'd also like one with servers based in China, which leaves me with like,,, three options)
 
TOO REAL >_< Yes I have big dreams of the fun things I can have. What I actually need

- A GOOD pair of kitchen scissors
- Glass Bowls
-A small bookshelf for my desk
- End Table for my bathroom
- More Pasta (where does it go?)
- A new Jewelry case
- Larger Oversized Letter Envelopes

ill get it all.. . eventually

Scissors… oh goodness! A small pair for my purse, a little pair for threads, a nice pair for fabric (only fabric!), a medium and a large for paper, and a kitchen scissors!
No such thing as too many glass bowls! I’m lucky my mom keeps wanting new ones so I have a lovely collection of mismatched castoffs. :purpleheart:

I’ll get it all eventually, too. I just keep getting the giggles over the little things that I put off. (Usually in favor of something for E)

When you do get around to buying some fabric only scissors you should look for the brand Tru Red :D I got this pair last year as a gift and they’re so good (unless you like bigger scissors)

As for practical stuff I’ve put off getting I gotta get shampoo but only one store sells the one I like so I’m always just like “eh I’ll go there another time” lol and also printer ink

Shampoo and conditioner and printer ink is the WORST! I got an HP printer and signed up for the monthly thing they offer or I would never buy ink.
 
I need new sneakers but I hate spending more than like 30.00 on them. Spend 200.00 on a pony? OK! Pay full price for a practical item I'll use for hours everyday? NO WAY! My stepma got me some Danskos for Christmas and I'm trying to give them a go but I dunno. Some of my coworkers love them but I'm not sure yet, they feel so stiff. I like me a good sneaker with some Dr Scholls.

Haha nice, that makes it easy! For some reason my printer always seems to run out of just magenta lol

I take full advantage of working in a print shop. Sometimes I joke that that's why I have such a hard time imagining getting another job: then I'd have to give up my free prints!

Hey printing stuff can get expensive so it totally makes sense haha!

I love vacuums lol
I'd recommend a dyson!
Easy to use, repair, and maintain, they also have the best filtration systems in the business!
