Hello people! I was hoping you could help me out in IDing where this particular variant came from... (or if it's a variant at all).
Checking out the My Little Pony Re-Releases Encyclopedia for Beachberry, it lists two versions of the toy. One with a metallic green hoof heart, the other with a matte green hoof heart.
I managed to find one of each, with the same dark pink body. The two hearts are very similar and hard to distinguish at a glance, but you can still see that one has more shine than the other, if you catch the light right:
That's not the issue, though. What's got me confused, is that I also found another Beachberry... this time with a light pink body:
(the metallic green is in the center, and matte green on the right, BTW)
This "3rd type" is what has me confused. She's not listed on the MLP rereleases page. She's not listed on the Strawberry Reef page, either. So... what is she? Is she a production error? Body fading? It doesn't LOOK like fading, though, as her colour is consistent throughout. I have no clue.
Hope you guys can help shed a little light on this.
