I'm having trouble removing symbols. I was wondering if there is something I could soak them in? I feel like I'm scrubbing for hours removing old symbols!

Hi there,

Try soaking a piece of kleenex (tissue/toilet paper/whatever) in acetone or nail varnish remover, and putting it to sit on the symbols for a while. Then try scrubbing them again. :) And if you have fingernails, they REALLY help.

/me makes a mental note and decides to try that as well

I'm always afraid to scratch symbols. I'm afraid I'm going to leave scratches on the actual pony.

Goof Off (United States customizers can find it in the paint/solvent/etc. section of Walmart, among other places -- I dunno about its availability in other countries) takes off symbol paint in seconds. The only thing it doesn't work well on is glitter, which I usually just scratch off with the tip of an X-acto. Remember that Goof Off's a noxious chemical that gives off nasty fumes, so use appropriate safety precautions if you give it a try, and rinse/scrub the bait really well afterward.

I used to use acetone, but it gave me lots of trouble. I find that Goof Off works better.

i used nail polish remover to remove the symbols on a peachy i used to have it worked perfectly

What are you using? Try Acetone. It's always removed symbols right away when I've use it.

Thats what I have is acetone.
And thanks for the goo off suggestion! I still have to use the acetone, but it does help.
