Replacing BBE with Epoxy?

I dislike the BBE ponies with a passion. Probably because they look super creepy to me. I was thinking of buying a BBE pony and popping out the eye and replacing it with smooth epoxy and painting on an eye instead. Do you think this would work?

I've seen customs with normal eyes yes

(Funny for me to know exactly where to grab a tutorial for this when I am the world’s biggest beddy bye eye fan lol)
