I bought some ponies from a seller that lives about 10 mins from me in another town..she wants to charge me $10 for priority for a few babies and 2 adults..total maybe 5 ponies or so. in my past encounters of selling and shipping ponies, they dont weigh much. so I asked her again and explained and she said priority is $7..now I know and all pony buyers know priority is $3.85. I checked the usps website for 2 lbs and its about $4.00 from them to me. I offered to come pick them up, but I jsut lack the time to do that. but $7-$10 seems like an awful lot for a few ponies. what do you think?

I"m not sure what shes packing them with, they are loose, I offered to come get them if I have too. they could all fit in a small box, there arent't that many..matter of fact heres a picture.

she emailed me and said send what I think is right, since $5.50 seems fair to me and about right I'll send her that for shipping.

well now shes saying I HAVE to pay $10 because I bid into contract, I'm trying to offer to pick it up now. its just too sketchy, she wont take paypal either. And I guess its too hard to go get a quote. I get all the bad luck.

what I don't like is the fact she said send what you think is right, then she doesn't want to have it checked at the post office for a quote so its RIGHT, I know I am getting soaked on shipping and i'm not going to have a choice but to hand her $5.00 too much. It makes me angry when sellers make money off over priced shipping. and you can say its insecure for a seller..what about ME as the buyer? I have no protection against a shipping gouge. if she was concerend about the paypal claims then she should make insurance MANDATORY.I've sold ponies before to, I'm not stupid when it comes to being a seller, people pull all kinds of antics. all I expect is that if she over charges me to get it back thats all. the box I'm sure she got for free so I dont' think $5.00 for suppplies is right either. I'm stuck paying I guess and theres nothing I can do for it.

I'm stuck paying of coarse, but she said one thing then changes her mind. There should be a way thru ebay that buyers can defend themselves against outragous shipping prices. I'm stuck paying $14.99 to get ponies that are 8 miles from my apartment. :(
I hate conflict and hassles, I like to pay paypal and leave it at that, but if you don't speak up then theres no chance of saving the money ya know what I mean? she don't know me, but I don't file claims unless I absolutely have to anyways.
