I reckon having the forelock chopped off is one of the most common haircuts on ponies. Did little kids really dislike how it looks? When any of you were kids, did you dislike the forelock on some ponies? Do you still dislike it? I find it cute, but it's also cute how many kiddos took it upon themselves to "fix" their ponies' unruly tuft of hair XD

No I think they are adorable and love it when they do crazy stuff like stand straight up. I think they should all have a forelock!

I love them on my G2s but I want to curl them a little eventually so they're less of just a random tuft. Some of the G2 ones just stick straight up haha

I'm permanently horse crazy, so I never cut hair. I don't understand kids who do that?

I didn't give my ponies hair cuts but my kitty surprise did get her face fur shaved XD

I think it's just a learning and control thing kids go through. It sucks now for us as collectors but it was important development for them

LoL, Don't know why but when I saw this I was thinking of fetlock, not forelock, so I was like wait a minute kids are cutting off part of the leg. Is there something I'm messing up here?

But I can't judge here, since when I was little I used to remove the soft velvet body hair/fur on some of my toy horses and then color and draw on the plain white bodies

My siblings and I are all adults, and in a group chat my oldest sis sent a pic of a passed down toy her grandkids were playing with. They wanted to know, "Who gave the horse a haircut?"
My exact reaction was, "What toy ********* would do that!?Lol"
It was our youngest sister, I used to hide my toys from her. Kids do kids things.
It's all good, now we can replace the hair if we want to, down to its near exact color if we want. I would do rehairs for a living if i could!
Some bangs look really cute though, I have a few that the kid did a great job so i left it.

I've had so many of my ponies come like this! And I never understand it, as I was too terrified to even trim my ponies' hair when the ends turned into a frizz ball.
