I either paint the cream around the symbol, or put on some masking tape I have weakened. I might use paint but never on a glitter symbol. I did consider laying blue tack over them but have not tried it.Hey guys, do you cover the cutie marks when you sunfade? My guess is especially glittery symbols should not even get in touch with salon cream…

I saw some UV bulbs like this while picking up cat food earlier, and I had to know: has anyone tried using these kinds of bulbs for indoor sunfading? If so, how effective is it? Is it safe? Can you screw the bulb into a standard gooseneck lamp or does it require a special lamp? We're starting to see less daylight here, so I was wondering if this would be a decent alternative. It seemed more straightforward than UV strips glued to a box because I can get everything locally, but I don't wanna risk setting something on fire.

I used a UV bulb but not the same one as that post. I made a whole thread processing the entire fade of my ponies, including a Cherry Treats from start to end with successhas anyone tested whether this works better than UV yet? I'm using the same setup as RetroGeekCrafts
