I am thinking about getting a new tattoo soon, and then I was thinking...I'll bet people on the mlptp have some neat tattoos. Anyone feel like sharing your ink?

ETA: Of course, follow rules for content.
 
i don't have any tattoos, but both my parents have at least one. i'd really like one someday though- some twinkling stars on my back would be fun and that's one i'm thinking of. i have scars on my back and thinking of them as stars makes me feel a bit better about them :)
besides that... i'm not sure what else. i'd probably get some fun designs/stuff from childhood done on my arms- definitely the G3 my little pony logo
 
I have trouble committing to putting a sticker on something so I don’t think I could ever decide to get a tattoo lol. But I had this coworker a few years ago who had an octopus on her shoulder whose tentacles wrapped all down her arm to her writs, I thought that one was really cool!
 
I was thinking about getting something that honored Rain (the baby I miscarried) and Lynnix (the one I am adopting).

I am trying to figure out exactly how I want it.

Maybe just one for Lynnix: I don't know.
I have four tattoos so far.
 
I have.. *counting* … 10 tattoos. I have my ponysona, my Wesley, pointe shoes (drawn using my old pair for reference), tikki, plagg, my version of the world tree (Yggdrasil), my favorite princess bride quote, and two dedicated to E. One of E’s full initials in kanji. (They spell something that I didn’t want to advertise without permission, so unless you read kanji… we had the best story time at the library in Mandarin.) The other is a broken heart held together by a big ribbon with E’s first name. No pictures as most of mine are placed so my mom won’t know. ;) (Yes, I’m all grown, but my mom still terrifies me.)
 
I like tattoos but i like to change styles so much I couldnt commit to permanence. The same with body piercings I just would rather have them when I feel like it but not when I dont lol so I usually go for fake piercings. Its too hard to do fake tattoos since theyre always shiny and obviously fake.
IF i ever had the courage to get a tattoo Id probably get a Tolkien tattoo. Like the tolkien symbol or my favorite characters (Finrod) name in elvish. :happyhearts:
 
I don't have any but if I did get some it would probably be Mintys cutie mark on my right thigh with extra gumball candy, marshmallows, and cupcakes, thrown in for good measure like tropical punch Zoey's tattoo in fortnite

Oh, id also love my OC yarn hearts cutie mark on my left wrist so I can look at it while I crochet that would be nice.
The yarn would be g3 Minty green the handle would be pastel pink and the hook would be blue mint

I love it. I love the Fruits Basket reference too. I think we could be friends :D
 
I have one on my foot that I picked out in a rush walk in joint. It's a squiggly moon and I wish it was better. I really want more but I don't have any time to stand in line for my guy, he's booked out for months at a time. I have tons of ideas and really want a NBC one and a mommy and baby Firefly...
 
Here's my wrist one (this is right after it was done. I'll put up a new shot too. It was created with dots for the segments so that the color would spread into the lines. It looks great.)

This topic brings back a memory!
I was 17 and my Dad and I went into our local United Grocery Outlet to buy 6 more boxes of the scrumptious Kellogg's limited-edition pumpkin spice frosted flakes so we could eat them while we were waiting for our thanksgiving turkey to cook while watching Christmas vacation.

Anyhoo at the checkout with the cereal, I noticed a 60 or so-year-old man with a gruff exterior buying some canned and boxed goods, and on his upper arm was a machop tattoo, and on his upper wrist was a Squirtle tattoo!
So being the special kind of crazy I am
I finished helping my dad check out and walked straight up to the gentleman and said "I like your Squirtle tattoo!
War turtle was my first favorite Pokemon but now my favorite is leafeon!"
to that he replied" thank you I got the Squirtle tattoo because my youngest grandson was scared of me so I got his favorite Pokemon tattooed for him and his brother got jealous so I got matchup for him.
I'm planning on getting a third one done do you know if there is a karate-fighting kind of pokemon because my other grandson is really into martial arts"
and I was like "Yes! It's called sock the marital arts Pokemon! it evolves into a throw! I wish I had worn my Pokemon hat today it has a Squirtle on it! "
he said thank you and I said goodbye.
then I saw the utter shock and embarrassment in my poor father's face I felt really bad for putting him through that situation of his 17-year-old randomly walking up to a complete stranger just because he had a Pokemon tattoo!

Amazon, and I’m sure other make-up/crafty places, sells a set of ‘tattoo pens’. E is 13 and tripanaphobic, so not going to have a real tattoo. E adores these pens though. They last until you wash them off.

Oh, I've heard of those! They do look cool! And E don't feel bad about being tripanaphobic lots of people have trouble with needles! I can't watch them poke me lol once it's in I'm fine :)
I do however have physically crippling trypophobia and that doesn't even hurt me! just looking at it makes my skin crawl!

Ooo!! Thanks for the heads up! :D ill look into them! Awww I totally understand that. Im not afraid of needles for the same reasons, but I have a phobia of pressure and pain so needles scare me for those reasons. It sucks! Totally sympathize. :/
 
I have 3. a thyroid butterfly cancer ribbon on my wrist, a "Dragon" fly on my ankle and a dragonfly on my shoulder. I want to redo the ankle one to a seahorse.

the dragonfly on my shoulder is in honor of my grandfather, who I believe is my guardian angel in dragonfly form. I want to add on a flower for my grandmother. I just haven't had the money to add on to my tattoos.

They just keep getting more expensive, don’t they? Plus, you don’t want just anyone to give you a tattoo! I have a list of a few I would love. They’re already drawn.

@MegaLeafeon E said that they have tropophobia, too. I got schooled about it.
 
I have 2, my first was a celtic knot about the size of a grapefruit between my shoulder blades. I got that when I was 19 and I still like it but I can't really reach it to keep it lotioned and fresh looking so it's faded and needs a touch up pretty bad. I was content with just that for the longest time, cause I am very particular and think about everything before doing something permanent (how will it look with clothes, will I always love it, will I hate it when I'm 80...) but I did eventually want a second one, got it a couple years ago https://www.mlptp.net/index.php?threads/so-i-did-this-today.115370/#post-889814
