I never liked g1 italian starflower. Or the shs with crimped hair.

G4 pinkie pie is easily my least favoutite in the show. She acts so childish and dramatic sometimes. The spike loves rarity thing is also stupid imo. Rarity clearly takes advantage of him from time to time and they just laugh about it.

I also dislike the equestria girls, especially the ones in the cutie mark crew blind bags. They should have never been made.

I got into My Little Pony as a kid because I loved animals and I didn’t like dolls. Ponies gave me a way to be able to play in my older sister’s games when she had her Bratz. Equestria Girls go well against that. I just don’t like EG at all

On the pony side, I don’t like the newer G4 brushables. They look kind of strange to me.
Ponies with gimmicks, I am not a total fan of but I think some can win me over (like Lily Lightly with her light up horn) but if they get really wild, no thanks.
This is how Sing and Dance Pinkie Pie (G3) creeped me out

Oo… I really dislike the spike/rarity thing, too. Talk about a bad message to send to kids. I have two cmc blind bag eg and they’ll probably be donated to the young child of a friend if I don’t find anyone who wants them for shipping. lol I have the original set of eg dolls because they are my daughter’s. She got them for Christmas and for having surgery. I made sure we still have all the accessories even though they were definitely played with. I actually really like the hair styling set of eg, too, so I have them. They’re so over the top and rather ‘80’s. Otherwise, they lost me on tho, the g4 reboot and pony life. Especially the blind bags where everything has a horn.

I'm glad your daughter likes them. I've tried giving away the cmc eg figures for free, just pay shipping, and no one wants them:/ I'm also not fond of the 'everyone gets a horn' thing.

i totally agree with this. this feels like a very recent popular trend that may be on its way out. it feels super overdone, and i think if i was growing up in that trend, i would think ponies and unicorns were overrated. thankfully i didn’t. I was a little geeky growing up and hid the fact that i LOVED ponies.

I’m not fond of the drink and wet ponies. I was never interested in playing ‘house’. At least not in the way of playing mommy or baby or slice of life. My ponies were all like the black stallion. Living wild and free!
 
The Surprise Twins set has a strange feel to me and kind of reminds me of the pregnant Barbie doll. Does Mummy Pony have a name or is she just only “Mummy Pony”?

I think personally I will miss unicorn items if the trend does go away. I wont miss the horn thing. This sounds like Hasbro when they decided to put hair on all the Pony friends. -_-
 
I'm not fond of most ponies with pink bodies and golden blonde hair, i.e. Rapunzel, Amberlocks, Baby Tappy, Meadow Flower, Baby Backstroke.

I have never liked Pinkie Pie G3 or G4.

I cannot stand the G2s with the changeable tails, it looks tacky and ruins some otherwise pretty girls.

Equestria Girls. I want horses not people.

Pony Life is hideous.

I do not love G5 Alphabittle, and Deputy Sprout looks like he's being subject to male pattern baldness early poor fella.

The hair bead G4s.

I hate male ponies with human facial hair. Stop it!

I do not like G3 or G4 Breezies.

I do not love 3.5s.

I have G4s, but their round bloated heads bother me to no end.

I don't like Teeny Tinies and by extension Fancy Mermaid Babies. Round bloated heads =yuck.

I don't like the articulated G2s, especially with those awkward necks. They ruined some very pretty ponies.

Beddy-Bye Eyes... Those poor babies creep me out. Especially when rust sets in.
Also don't care for the Soft Sleepy Newborns. Mostly for the same reasons as the BBE, but also something about their poses bothers me.
Finally, the Equestria Girls. Ponies only, please!
 
Ruddy Sparks is ugly. They could have used red, yellow, orange and green in his color scheme, and given him a regular hairdo.

i love the diva pose too! i have sweetberry, moondancer & love wishes in that pose & they all happen to be faves in my collection :winkpony:

also, more on the topic of this thread.. pretty much most of G2. i don't think i'll really get around to liking more than a few. i've always seen MLP as short, stout ponies and G2 feels like a bootleg. they're too elongated that it puts me off lol. some of the babies get a pass tho :)

I can’t think of a particular pony I don’t like but there are poses or gimmicks that I don’t like. Beddy Bye Eyed for one. So creepy! Also not a huge fan of Rapunzel’s pose or Confetti’s or Masquerade’s (though I love the colors and symbols of all those, just not the pose)

And I kinda agree that G2 don’t exactly look like mlp (I’d actually seen some in the past and totally thought they were fakies :unsure:) but I think they are still pretty, especially the adorable babies
