Toronto mini meet anyone?

Im comming back to Canada for about a month and a half starting arround the 15th *I need to clarify that* and I was thinking what if we had a mini meet? no big planned events, but all the trading, talking and eating!? I can offer to host at my condo in down town Toronto *corner of Spadina and Front* or we could try a diffrent place. Im in contact with several local pony people and so far Ive herd alot of postitve responces! Im comming from America, so Ill also stock up on new ponies which are getting hard to locate in Canada these days. this will of corse be at my discression as to how many and what I can locate in stores arround here.

so I ask:

~ who is intrested?

~ between now and September, what weekend would be best for you?

~ any ideas or sujestions about what YOU would be intrested in or looking for in a small pony gathering?

this is just an idea at this point, I need your feedback and intrest to get something started. so lets see a show of hands!

bump bump, camon' Toronto collectors! where are you? do I have to look up email addresses and do this the hard way? :D

eheh! Im only in town for a little while! Ill settle for small lol. plus its a great excuse to use the condo for something :D

ok update! so far ive got 4 definates and 2 that say they want to. im going to dig up email addys later and contact people.

there will be a mini meet! tenitave dates are either sunday september 4th or 11th. a potlock was sujested by fantastic firefly and i think that sounds great!

if you might be intrested please email me so i can send you a address and map. im a short walk from union metro station in downtown, so its eazy and very accessable. if you need parking let me know so i can direct you to the cheapest lots. if you need to stay over night let me know that too so i can arrange a guest room or a couch for you ^_^

please bring any trade/sale items you want. a box of show off ponies is also very welcome! but please mind that this is a mini meet in a small condo, so i cant offer table displays.

newbies are welcome!dont be shy! anyone is welcome to join us.

mini meet

It would be neat to come, but I've never driven in Toronto before, and I don't know if I'd want to. :( I'm kind of scared of big city driving. Biggest city I've driven in is Kitchener-Waterloo.

humm, its supper eazy to drive to, the condo building is right off the "Spadina" exit on the QEW, you wouldent have to drive arround in downtown much. if you dont mind the QEW youll be fine. if you dont want to worrie about the car you could also metro in, if need be we could arrange to have someone meet anyone comming on the metro at Union Station and walk with you to the condo *10 min walk from station* if you would like to look up the location on a map the building is on the corner of Front and Spadina, we are literaly next to the Sky Dome, er', "Rogers Center" and the CN tower. I hope that helps! Ill update here as I have further info to share!

I wish I could go, but it is hard to getaway with a 3 month old boy, but he would be just over 4 months when the mini meet would be. And also I don't have airconditioning in my car so it it were a warm day he would be too hot in his carseat :(
 
Sounds like fun! I'll come. I wouldn't mind meeting some new pony folks and seeing some old friends if they choose to come.

Let me know what is the set date.
