I bought from moodyblue_2004 auction ended on the 9th I think or 10th. anyways their listing specified no pay date or make contact, so being busy I didn't think about it much. well I planned to pay 8/19 and I log in to see they left me a negative FB saying I am a time waster and no payment or contact. all the seller did to contact me was send automatic invoices, I knew I had to pay and defiantely planned to and tried to explain it to them and remind them they had no pay date specified so that I would think falls to ebay rules of 30 days to pay. well their respose emails were full of name calling and it seems they don't want to work thru the problem like adults. I of coarse being ticked threw them a negative in return for the immaturity and lack of clarity on their part. Maybe I am at fault for not emailing immediately like I usually do, but for some reason I didn't and I didn't pay immediately because I just got paid and I explained to them that also..so what should I do about this situation.

If they don't wanna work with you there probably isn't anything more you can do.

This was up not to long ago. Someone else here on the board that waited to e-mail and pay for a week and ended up getting their bid canceld.
People here seems to have very different opinions on that matter.
It all depends on what was/or was not stated in the auction or invoice.
However, I think it's a good idea to have as a rule that you always send the seller at least one e-mail back telling them when you are going to pay so you don't have to get involved in a mes like this =/

Check with Ebays rules and see what they have to sy about your situation and if there is anything left you can do, but I don't really think so unless you both mutualy agree to withdraw the negatives =/

Like Desert_Rose said, it's always a good idea to email the seller after the bidding ends, just to confirm a date when you're able to pay, that way then everyone knows and is in agreement. What was their feedback like? They don't sound too professional :? Sorry about your neg. I think you can respond to them to let others know what happened. Good luck!

You can try and dispute it with eBay, since they had no pay date specified and it's certainly not over 30 days they really have no right to complain. i'd say take it up with Ebay.

yeah I did tell ebay..theres not much I can do prolly, that seller is just crazy, of coarse my negs from complaining about over charged shipping they thru in my face, yea I know I have negs but their retalitory negs..people can't be honest they get what they deserve, I get big ol neg no matter what I do. I can pay 1 min after auction and ask about the over charge and a refund and if they get nasty then I neg them for not giving me a good reason or a refund. it isn't fair but we've all talked about until blue in the face.

Hmmm... I think seller and buyer are supposed to make contact within three days of the auctions end, aren't they? I do think it would have helped if you'd let them know you wouldn't be able to pay until the 19th. If I had heard nothing from a buyer after 10 days, I probably wouldn't leave a neg, but I wuld be concerned.

like I said I usually email, but for some dumb reason I didn't, wasn't thinking or something. I've never until now had a seller who thought sending auto invoices was a way to make contact, their auction didn't say anything when to pay by or demanded contact either, so yeah I should have emailed them, but like I said I forgot or something, I thought I did,but looks like my stupid self didn't and it got me another negative. I even left one person positive then a follow up to note some damaged items and they leave me a neutral! plus they wouldn't take PP so I had to go run for a M/O..that peeved me. Some people just don't belong on ebay I guess.
