I have a question that's been on my mind for a few days now about a G3 Pony named Cute Curtsey. On the MLP Merch site it says that she had two releases, on of them (the white version) I can find online being sold, but the other one (the blue version) I can't seem to find her anywhere...

So my question is: has this blue version of Cute Curtsey ever been released?:unsure:

the note on her page on mlpmerch says she's a prototype.

i doubt this pony would have been named cute curtsey since she's an entirely different pony - the packaging is probably just a mock up made for proof of concept.

Nope. I had her on my Want list back when I stopped collecting and she was “unnamed blue carriage pony” at the time because those pictures had just been found and we in the community were all excited for her release. When I got back into collecting I started to hunt her down to find out what she had been named only to discover she had never happened.

That's true she is a entirely different pony, but Toola Roola also has two different looks, so I thought Cute Curtsey would be a similar case, too bad she was just a prototype

So sad  I actually love her look and her cutie mark! I really wanted her on my collection

May have become different a pony? The original Rainbowdash had a drastically different design, and the blue one look like she could have become Snowflake.

I think Snowflake looks a lot like her, but she was released in 2003, so it was before Cute Curtsey

But the cutie mark is very similar

Heh yeah, she’s been on the top of my wishlist since I was like 14 unfortunately it turns out she’s a prototype like the others said.
If I ever find a Dream Blue 2 and one of the princess carriages I plan on making my own version of her (maybe with Sno Glo’s hood)

That's cool! I wish I had the talent to make my own G3 customs! :lolpony:

In this case it wouldn’t be too hard a custom to do, I searched all the blue g3s to find the best one, she’s a little bit darker but that wouldn’t bother me. Here she is next to winter cute curtsy

She’s in the same pose and already has pink hair and a blue body, I’d just have to trim the hair to the right length and change the eye color to pink. The most involved part would be painting her new symbol on :) And then the only differences between hers and the other carriages from that line were the the colors and that little bit of fur on the back. So painting it to look the same shouldn’t be too hard. And then either making a little hood out of some faux fur or using this one

I totally haven’t had this planned for years lol
