Welcome to the Rubber Ducky Pony Spa!

This thread was cute with the narration, but then the rubber ducki-corn LIT UP :ponylove: And those Posy sketches are really pretty! What if her eye had a white tulip reflection (like her symbol)? Or is that too much? Might even be cuter if it was just on one side.

Yesh, I love that duckie. I don't have a bathtub, just a shower, so at least the ponies yet a bath time disco! I thought about the tulip in the eye, just not sure if a complicated shape like that would work. Might have to tilt it or something.

ooh what a great job you're doing! and so satisfying to see everybody get clean :lolpony: wonderful paint work, can't wait for TAF posey!

oh, and you know i have to approve anything with ducks on it :winkpony: i actually have quite the rubber ducky collection, lol

That looks great! How did you get the colour to match so well?
Ok, colour theory helps alot. I analyze the colour. It looks coral, but sort of dull. So, I start with pink, then add yellow to make it slightly orangey. To dull it down, add a complementary colour like blue or purple.

You can use your thumbnail as a palette and test the colours by painting it. Though, I did notice that making it slightly lighter than the target colour helps. It gets darker when it dries. :redheart:

That is really smart. Good idea.

Thank you! That's very kind of you :)

I'd say it's not only ethical, it's a moral obligation. You did right on this girl. :lolpony:

In all seriousness: wow. You truly have a talent for restoration! I admire you. How long did she take to sunfade?
she took quite a while, maybe 2 days altogether? She still has a blue mark on her leg, but all her internal rust is gone. :)
