Do you partake in other conventions not centered specifically around MLP? Other comic-cons, horror-cons, anything really? Ones you want to attend or ones that you make a yearly pilgrimage to? Share them! Who knows, maybe some of us have been walking right by each other for years.
My husband and I frequent several conventions, all usually based around comic books though a few are based around the Star Wars fandom.
Steel City Comic Con-- Out of Pittsburg, we've only just started going to this one and plan to go during their spring shows (they do a quarterly show). I love this one because the center is nestled right in the middle of a mall, so when I have finally had enough of people bumping into me I can escape into the bookstore right across the parking lot!
TriCon-- Out of Huntington, WV. Another comic-based show that has so far featured a few writers and artists from the MLP:FiM comic series. There were also various vendors there this year selling custom pony-themed art pieces and apparel!
Jedi Con-- Out of Sistersville WV. It's small and not advertised very well, but that just means there are always great deals. Always amazed to see what the costuming groups do each year.
Classic Plastic Toy and Comic Expo-- Out of Parkersburg WV. This one my husband actually helps run! He and our toy store owner friend just started this show and had a great first year turn-out. The next one is already in the works--it's taking place in our local art gallery with an artist who specializes in scrap metal painting. There may also be perks for artists who join up, but I haven't heard that confirmed yet so I will just shush.
So, where else do you go to get your convention fixes?
