I just recently got a lot of gen 1 ponies and I'm very excited, I've done a lot of research on restoration and have a little practice with gen 3 ponies.
However about half of these ponies have what I believe are ink stains, I plan on giving them hydrogen peroxide cream and then putting under uv (Im waiting for those to get here though)
I know doing this I need to cover the hair, eyes, cutimarks, ect but a few ponies have the stains on them.
How do I get around this?

They make something called masking fluid that you paint on and then once it’s dry you can rub it right off, I’ve seen people use it to keep paint of certain parts of a painting and stuff like that. I haven’t seen it used on a pony I don’t think, but it should work :)

You can also use white tac :D

You can try to cover the eyes and symbols with washable white paint so they don't get affected by the uv light :winkpony:

I've used cheap white acrylic craft paint. It scrubs right off with water when you're done

I used a mix of masking tape and cheap acrylic white paint and all was well (pictures)
