Where are doll collecting communities?

So the only dolls I ever collected were Novi Stars, but recently I've gotten into Rainbow High and I would love to talk to people about them. But alas, not every fandom has an awesome message board like this.

Where do doll collectors hang out to meet other collectors?

Afaik, there's not a good dedicated forum like MLPTP or MLPArena.

DenofAngels is strictly Ball Jointed Dolls. You can only discuss/show off-topic dolls with other on-topic dolls. I don't know about any others. I would assume the Smart Dolls are similar due to the cult of personality thing they have going on.

R/dolls, R/fashiondolls, and R/rainbowhigh are all pretty active, but then you also have to deal with the reddit hivemind.

The Tumblr community is fairly active and nice. They usually post in the #dollblr tag.

Instagram community is very active. Literally any of the doll tags. It's a little overwhelming but I've had good luck meeting other collectors.

as others mentioned above, i haven't really come across any dedicated forums for fashion dolls or anything, but there is a section on the arena for doll collecting and you might find some good discussion there :3

I'm a pretty passive doll collector so I wouldn't know about communities like mlptp but my sister @my little pony collector has said good things about the Barbie groups on FB

I too am very passive at doll. I've never considered myself a doll person. I just liked Novi Stars dolls only for a long time. And only recently realized how high quality and adorable the Rainbow High dolls are. Coincidentally, both are from the same company so I definitely have an aesthetic. I know a little bit about other doll lines, mostly Monster High, but I don't collect those. I mostly got the Rainbow High dolls because I want to restyle their hair and make clothes for them.

Haha funny I have that slumber party Robyn in my wishlist but I had no idea she was a minty color the pics I’ve seen she always looked powder blue. I hope you can find Daphne on clearance soon , she’s a pretty one

I'm just coming to the thread because I just saw it I am a big doll collector Barbie Monster High Equestria Girls star Darlings and I've recently been liking some of the rainbow High dolls as well cause purple is my favorite color although I've never found a rainbow high out of In wild and there's no way I could buy it new
this winter version is my favorite

I love the pigtails and how cute her face is in this one

For Barbie my recent obsession is Barbie extra dolls I also collect Collector's Editions all the way from the 80s to know
For Monster High I just collect my favorite character
