Every single G4 i have spent money on has had some sort of factory error. Some are easier to accept than others, but for me this..is totally unacceptable. I can't stand the way this looks and I don't understand why they think its okay to do this. To me its got to be some sort of laziness to pass this sort of mistake off on a consumer. I realize you may disagree with me, but I am picky. If I spend my money on something I don't want to see a filled hole on its bum. It looks a whole lot worse in person that the photo shows its even dented in some. So far, I am even more sure that I will not spend my money on anymore of these G4 ponies. I, personally just dont like looking at this. Sure its a kids toy and kids may not notice that. I am not a kid though and earth to the toy companies...many many adults buy your toys. Toys are not bought only for kids. Yesterday I bought two MLP's from the G4 line. Both had serious factory errors you couldn't see from the packaging. My other one has creases all down its left leg from poor mold pouring. Is it wrong for any adult to want children to have higher quality toys to play with? Things that look good when they take them out of the package? For heads to match bodies? I don't like to complain but why should anyone have to sit back and settle for stuff that is not pretty to look at?
Factory errors are a given sure..I know that..we expect them. For our family though its been every single pony bought from the G4 line with the exception of the blind bags. Compared to G3 where I only found that two MIB ponies had factory errors out of my collection of over 200 and my G1 collection where I only have maybe 10 errors out of a collection of around 100..something is wrong with the percentage of factory errors I am getting from this current line.
I don't collect G4's but there are a few I have bought and I wish I never had really...sigh This is just my personal standard. I may be picky, but you can't tell me I am the only one out there that has higher expectations for toys.
