Hi there, I have what I think is the standard Bobby (yellow body/pink hair) and I was just wondering if there are any other variations of Bobby out there?
I have it in my head that there was one with blue hair but maybe I imagined her?......lol

Bobbi is actually one of the Happy Tails Variants, that particular pony was given the name "Bobbi' many years ago by Selena ( Reaperfox a member here).

There are a few other happy Tails variants,

I have princess Tabby here, Ill take a pic of her , and Bobbi too when my camera finishes charging :D

Oh that'd be lovely thankyou so much!! I have pink haired Bobbi and a romper minus her symbol and mechanism but they're the only HT variants I know of, were there many more then? My symboless romper is one of my favourites as she reminds me of the pony from the cartoons, and in my collection she's become 'mummy ember' lol

I love the fact that it was one of our members who named her! I never knew that thankyou Satinslipper! So as far as you know it's just the blue haired and pink haired bobbi's then?

I'm using an old pic and it's not a good one to show you bobbi but she's in the back in between magic star and cascade (I'm actually too lazy right now to take an individual photo - ss said she'd take a pic anyways haha)

Thanks for the list! I'm dying to know what Princess Tabby looks like!

So has anyone else heard of the no symbol variant of romper? And if not can I be cheeky and christen her 'Mommy Ember' ? lol. I remember seeing her MIB when I was with my mum and suposedly 'too old for ponies' (lol at the thought!!) So when I was older and collecting again I was extatic when I finally found her again! Btw I think of her as 'Mommy Ember' because she matches the purple baby ember with pink hair (seeing as neither have a symbol). And for anyone who's interested she's made of very soft, squishy plastic like Bobbi.

Wow thanks for the pics, they're great! So why does Tossel become 'Princess Tabby' ? And it looks as though she has Tabby's body, Tossels head and princess pony hair, is that right?

Ok......totally in awe now. There is so many ponies out there I never knew of, oh my gosh, my head is swimming with all this info. How on earth do you guys keep up on this stuff? lol Am I ever going to learn the existence of all those ponies out there, just when you think you have heard of them all, bang, there is more versions. :uhoh::uhoh: Going to clear my head now.

I have the same version as SoSilver
and
this version with glow in the dark hair
The symbols do not glow on either version, just the hair.

When you get into Princess Variants, it's a whole nother animal, I have around 80 princess variants in my personal collection and there are about 5 or 6 I have seen I am looking for. The problem with these, some are more common then others and some may be one of a kins:daisy:
 
I have these on the Happy Tails variant list I was trying to make at one point, but I feel I've left someone out and/or made some mistakes. I think I was only noting differences to the "regular releases" at the time.

Tall Tales (No mechanism)
Tall Tales (No symbol or mechanism) (Pink hair)
Tall Tales (No mechanism) (Pink Symbol) (Pink hair)
Tall Tales (No symbol or mechanism) (Pink mane/yellow tail)

So, according to that, there's an ordinary Tall Tales (yellow with blue hair) just missing her mechanism but with symbols? And one with pink hair who also has symbols? I don't know where I got any of this information from now. :( I didn't have the blue-haired one with no symbols or mechanism written down at all, so I guess I'll have to add her...or maybe just correct the listing for the one who I've noted as though she HAD symbols. Agh, I'm really addled now! >.<
 
my head spins with the crazy amount for ponies... i think if i never start getting them then ill be ok ;)
 
At one point many people were on the hunt for princess variants but I think only a few stuck with the search. You can go on an on with the variants and it makes the hunting more fun. I don't want to see anymore yellow princess variants otherwise my wishlist will get too long!
