Bobby variations?

At one point many people were on the hunt for princess variants but I think only a few stuck with the search. You can go on an on with the variants and it makes the hunting more fun. I don't want to see anymore yellow princess variants otherwise my wishlist will get too long!
:funnythumb: Once you start they do seem to be addictive. So don't visit my Personal Collection (link in my siggy:auto:) my Starburst/Amber Variant collection is huge, I think that and Primrose have the largest number of Princess Variants.

There are a large number of us variant princess collectors out there, we stay quiet because we are all after the same ponies :wow:

Shelti you are such a tease! You know how hard it is to not click your link?...it's like putting money in a slot machine and not pushing the button! If I get some of my yellow wishes granted then I'll look hehehe

Bobbi is a happy tails variant with no symbol, shes more like Tall Tales :D

The most known of Happy Tails variants are:

Tossells = Princess Tabby
Tall Tales = Bobbi ( 2 versions)
Woosie = Princess Woosie ( lavender)

Can you provide pics for all of these ladies? I didn't know that there could be so many variations!! I'm not sure I've seen any of them, and I would like to know what the original ponies look like too, since I don't have any of them to compare to. Thanks for the info, SS!

I saw them, but i'm not sure who is who, and what the originals looked like. It's way too much info for me to digest all at once!:wow: *hahaha*

They really are a case of using left overs IMO......... heads in many cases dont match bodies... LOL
PMSL! Totally!! Alot of times the heads couldn't be any less flush with the bodies if they tried, they're often a different shade, round jewels are forced into crown shaped holes, the list goes on! I often reffer to these as franikponies! lol. When the G1's ended I think hasbro must've wanted to patch togther every last peice of pony they had lying around! lol. Which is great in a way because it means there are SO many strange ponies out there. I wouldn't want to collect them all though because it would drive me nuts trying to get every last one! I no one else has 'Mommy Ember' (is that name sticking yet? :D ) I'll have to try and dig mine out to picture, but it won't be easy, lol

Ok......totally in awe now. There is so many ponies out there I never knew of, oh my gosh, my head is swimming with all this info. How on earth do you guys keep up on this stuff? lol Am I ever going to learn the existence of all those ponies out there, just when you think you have heard of them all, bang, there is more versions. :uhoh::uhoh: Going to clear my head now.
lol, I know what you mean, it drives you nuts doesn't it! That's why I don't let myself collect many of the varients!

Wow that Bobbie is SO pretty! Now that I've seen her I think she may even be my favourite and I want one!! lol

I When you get into Princess Variants, it's a whole nother animal, I have around 80 princess variants in my personal collection and there are about 5 or 6 I have seen I am looking for. The problem with these, some are more common then others and some may be one of a kins:daisy:
Wow that's an incredible total?! I bet they set you back a bit! I don't supose you have pictures of them online anywhere do you because I'd LOVE to see them all!

I have been collecting them for about 9 years
I was hooked the day I saw my first one on ebay.
Always after the Weird and unusual.
You can see my collection. I don't think I have put My MIB Mexico Prince Rubi in there yet either. If I stopped hanging out on the boards I might actually catch up. I also have just completed my flutterbye collection with the last one "Spain" marked flutter having arrived in from France the other day.
I have a link in my siggy below:) to my collection

So many beautiful variants. Thanks to everyone who shared pictures. More ponies that I know I'll probably never own. lol

(Sorry for quoting the same post twice but I can't seem to find 'copy' to copy and paste the bits I want to where I want.)

Well congratulations on having so many! Inspite of the fact you've been collecting them for some time it's a really impressive figure! I didn't even have a clue there were that many?! lol
Can't wait to see them all!

Bobbie is so cute! I'd really love to have one of her some day. And the princess with the glowing hair is a must have. ;) I should really just stop looking at this thread. It's making me want all those obscure princess variants!

I have the lavender Woosie. Was the lavender a US release? If so, was the lavender more common outside of the US? When I got this one, the thought was she wasn't a US release but that info could be outdated!
