Yeaaa its one of those things you gatta get real lucky and fast with a cheap one >.< Im sorry to get you wanting a rare doll! The pain of collecting lol. Its possible to get tho! :3 I managed to get a rare Rochelle for only 20 bucks once. I just had to stalk ebayy. Ive seen rares at thrift stores too for cheaper but didnt have the money at the time. We'll get them one day <3

Same lolol big mood. Some sellers have a tendancy to rip monster highs into pieces and sell each piece separately so you can buy like one single hand of the doll or the shoes if you want. Im always like LOL i can afford an arm. :rofl: It does come in handy for replacement parts but the problem is, they tear up brand new and RARE dolls to do it. Id rather it be a super common or damaged doll that needs to be salvaged. Its like.. imagine tearing up a perfectly good g1 mlp rapunzel brand new in mail order packaging just to sell the head, body, tail, and mane seperately.

Not monster high, but I feel you on the over-priced stuff. with these sellers.

I was at an antique mall once last summer and a seller had a cabinet full of ponies- maybe about 40 ponies or so. I was excited thinking i hit the jackpot, until I saw the extreme prices and realized why she had 40 ponies- any smart person will not spend that much. An Applejack was priced at $35. A baby Surprise for $40. Mostly common "Cheaper" ponies. I asked the seller if she was willing to drop the price and she said "I go by ebay prices, they're fair prices". So I pulled up Applejack and few others on ebay and mercari to show the $10-15 range. She kicked me out of her booth when I called her out.

Oh well, her loss. She could've made a sale. if she worked with me and saw the going prices.

This makes me soooo madddd omg im sorrry!! That sucks!! People like that know exactly what theyre doing, taking advantage of people. UGH just gets me so heated! >N< People can be so rudee. Ive seen g1s in glass cases like that too for 40 bucks and up.

Haha don’t be sorry :rofl: I’ve got a whole list of other rare/expensive dolls I want so I’ll just add her to it :D
That’s cool you were able to find her for a good price :) I’ve seen what people normally charge for her even in not so great condition
