I recently won a lot of ponies on ebay which included a Moondancer. I loved this pony when I was little and was happy to have her back again. As the pictures showed, her moon had faded to the point of being invisible unless you held her about three inches from your face.
Fortunately, it COULD be seen, if you looked closely. I resisted the urge to place her moon differently from factory. Instead, I used a toothpick and spread mod podge over her moon on each side, and used some extra-fine silver glitter to refresh her moon and I'm SUPER happy with how it turned out. My husband scolded me. "She's vintage - you are ruining her!" But, she is for my own enjoyment, and I enjoy her better with a fully visible cutie mark. So, there you have it. I think she turned out great! What do you think? Did I do wrongly?
