Fair 2015 location ?

There is also Greyhound Bus service but I am not sure I would want to ever subject myself to that ever again. I would recommend Amtrak over Greyhound any day.
 
Woooo! That's my backyard :D There are lots of things to do in Chicago, so if you can stay an extra day or so I really recommend it.

Things to do:
  • Field Museum of Natural History
  • Shedd Aquarium
  • Navy Pier
  • Millennium Park
  • Museum of Art
  • Shopping downtown
  • Science and Industry Museum
  • Lincoln Park Zoo and Conservatory - Completely free! No entry fee!
  • Walking around downtown
  • China Town
And more things I'm sure I'm forgetting. Don't forget to get a Chicago style deep dish pizza while you're here. Giordano's (http://giordanos.com) is my favorite :ponylove:

Chicago has a pretty good transit system, so even if you don't have a car, you can still get down town to see all the sights. Just stay off the red line, especially at night!
 
turns out i can take a train from montreal to new york but you are only allowed a carry on luggage but from new york to chicago you can have a full sized luggage.

so moving on LOL

there is a mid evil times close to the fair hotel and it looks pretty cool :) i might have to check it out

the hotel offers free shuttle service to the shopping mall or you can walk across the parking lot.

there is also a whole foods store close to the mall so i can go there and get some good foods

the hotel also has a car service to and from the airport and it is not that expensive

I keep hoping it'll come to Idaho/East Oregon at some point, we could use a little excitement around here. :tongue:
 
well it is pony related LOL and big and will require glue, tape, paints and luck
 
ok, i got my fair tickets, fair hotel, plane tickets, 2 suitcases almost all packed, fair display done. the"other country" pony list printed out, this way i will not buy the same pony i already have
