I always look for ponies while thrifting. I rarely find them, but I always look. You know how it is. I have had a major dry spell (as I think most of us have) over the last year or so. But today... look what I found!!!
When I spotted Windy in the bag I assumed it would be a Basic Fun version. I grabbed the bag to inspect her feet and there was baby Moondancer! Well, that did it. Moondancer is my army pony, so I never leave one behind. And turns out Windy is also original and they are both in good shape!
But here is the best part of my shopping yesterday... I have NEVER found one of these in the wild. Ever!
A sewing pattern!!! I have all the plush patterns that I have picked up from various ebay auctions or listings on Craigslist. I always glance at the sewing patterns at thrift stores, not holding much hope... but figuring the rainbow is distinctive enough to stand out. And it did today!!! And it also looks like all the pieces are intact!
