G4 Brushables Quality Declining?

Yet first thing that pops into my mind after reading about them disintegrating in about 10 years, is all the better reason to customize them

Lol shameless pony butcherer coming out again

Does suck that they moved factory from China to India if that means lower quality.

Some people may be looking to have their new g4's rehaired with dollyhair just to have that better quality back Dx

I think the quality of g4s is going down :(
I just got a pinkie pie and scootaloo set. Scootaloo has a shiny-ish body, with glue around her wings, and her head is completely matte. Her hair also feels less soft and more plastic-y (if that makes any sense). Pinkie is all over shiny (like how something looks After being painted with glue) and I brushed her hair lightly when wet for the first time, and it began to frizz :( her head also has a gap all around the front and appears to be leaning back.
This set didn't come with a comb though so maybe hasbro is trying to give people a hint to not brush the hair ;)

Where's the fun in that?

Oh good grief India is getting everything. In a way I am not sad because, those people need jobs and money over there badly, but lets see them make us something nice!

Like others, I worry about how long the G4s will actually last. Depends on the type of plastics they're using, but we know it isn't quality.

Well, before the fakie toss hits let me just say, I am shocked they have lasted this long ROFLOL. Okay runs and hides. baaaaaaaaaa

No, but if the Hasbro India ponies of the 80's are worth in the thousand range does this mean in 2040 my India made Pinkie Pie will be worth 1000.00?

Honestly I haven't noticed, but that's only because must of my collection is bling bags or similar toys with molded hair. I will say that a lot of the toys and such have gone to such an uninteresting level that I often will not buy something unless I become invested in the design. The first Equestria Girls dolls are the first example I thought of (what was with those things?:surprisepony: but those weird toys that are supposed to be "customisable" that you snap together and cover in stickers are the latest example. Even with my favorite character being used I just couldn't be bothered to even consider buying.

They might, plastic takes forever to break down. (bad for the environment, good for kids n colletors) and plenty of far cheaper made, knockoff crud has survived for decades, so...
