Have you ever lost a pony?

I lost my second hand Majesty when I was about 8. I used to pretend underneath my bed was her cave (and she kept all of my 'treasures' safe :winkpony: ) I went to get her one day and she was just gone. I couldn't believe it and I cried for goodness knows how long.

Well I've had about three different beds since then. Even though I have two dream castles I never bought a Majesty. It just wouldn't be the same. I 'd given up all hope of finding her.

Then about six moths ago I was looking under my bed for an odd sock. I moved a storage bin out of the way an she was just there . :shockpony: She was staring up at me from the storage bin! I was so shocked, and I hadn't remembered how minty she'd been! She now has pride of place in my collection. :smilepony:

I've lost a pony!!

When I was about five years old, I left Baby Cotton Candy on my next door neighbor's porch. It's not as naughty as it sounds. At the time, my family lived in a townhouse and the front porch was connected to the neighbor's. So, I was about two feet out of bounds, lol.

I was waiting to go somewhere with my family, but I inadvertently left BCC behind. I didn't worry about it, because she'd be there when I got home.

But she wasn't!!!

I don't think the neighbors would have done anything with her. I mean, they knew she was mine. But they did have two granddaughters who may have paid them a visit...and found my pony.

I never saw her again!

Yeah, when I was younger I lost the Little Giggles I'd had since forever. We had taken her and a bunch of other ponies on a trip, and we think she got lost in the hotel or somewhere. We just realized she was gone one day . . . It was pretty sad, because I never lost ponies. This year, actually, my mom and sister bought me a new one. :) It was very sweet of them.

I'm missing Bright Night actually! I had her on display at my old house and when I moved she wasn't with my other items. I think my parent's house have her hostage >.>

Yeah. Moving does it to me. I've shared my pony losses before I think but, when I moved out of my parents place a few didn't make it. My Megan and Molly dolls went missing probably around or a little before that too. I could understand them maybe getting mixed into a box of Barbies that were sold at least. But, how Rapunzel who was sitting on a shelf in my bedroom ended up missing is beyond me. Maybe when my parents finally move like they've talked about for years my ponies will pop up.

Since I didn't have many ponies as a child, I didn't have much of an opportunity to lose any -- except one. The one just so happened to be my very first MLP as well, Baby Sea Shimmer of the merpony line.
I had no clue she was a pony, let alone MLP, but she was a special toy of mine. I didn't play with too much, and one day after frantic searching through the old toy bin I realized she was nowhere to be found. That pony showed up in my dreams afterward, and I always thought that I had found her.

Turns out what had happened (like with many of us) was either my mom or older sister had sorted through all the toys that I had no longer been seen playing with, and got rid of 'em, Sea Shimmer included.
It's been so long that neither of them remember the pony, but that memory stuck.

Happily, I found one for sale here, and have been reunited with her. So this one kinda has a happy ending.

I know some of you have heard this story before but others have not so I'll re-tell it once more.

When I was around 11 years old I got my first baby pony named firefly (she shouldn't need any introduction). She was one of my favorite playthings going just about anywhere with me. Being young still I trimmed her hair, gave her forelock a Mohawk, and of course she got my initial "A" on the the bottom of her left foot. We basically were inseparable you could say.

Then one day she vanished while I was out. We checked the entire house, combed through the dirt basement sure the dog had chewed up Firefly. No traces were ever found. All but 25 of my ponies were given to my cousin.

Fast forward to my college years about 11 years when I visited the York mission. I noticed there was a table with MLPs so I went over to look at them. It was like nostalgia hit all over again rushing me back into wanting to collect them again and regain my childhood. Among those ponies one stood out crystal clear. Same haircut, forelock Mohawk, and the faded "A" are still intact. So yes I bought her for like 10 cents along with a handful of others.

Now you know why I became a collector. Baby Firefly never leaves my sight and stays in my beloved growing shrine. She's the heart of my collection since my first FF Butterscotch was lost to my cousin.

I know I do :)

This is the most amazing pony story.

I brought my G3 Moondancer to school in prep, she was my favorite pony. I had put her with my lunch and everyone elses things during PE, and when I came back she was gone! My friends and I looked everywhere... I was devasted!

The next day or so a friend came running up to me telling me another girl had her! So we went and confronted her and her friends and they were a bit, uh.. different kind of people.. so we had this argument for ages because apparently it was her pony that she'd had for weeks. I knew it was mine though because of a certain hoof mark, they probably would of hit me if I'd tried to take her back though.

Anyway a teacher became involved and the girl ended up admitting she stole it in tears.. got out of trouble.. teacher made me accept the apology.. but I got Moondancer back and only recently I have gotten over my grudge against this girl

Well...um...you see...I JUST LOST BABY SOFT STEPS!!!! I HAVEN'T EVEN HAD HER FOR A WEEK!! *sobs*:cry2::cry2:

I'm looking everywhere for G3 Bowtie. My daughter wanted to play with her today and we are sure we had Bowtie among these 200 G3s. Turns out we can't find her. No pony left the house. She might be in the Barbie bin or between the dinosaurs, who knows. I will keep looking.
Maybe we never had one???

I want to say I used to have a blue baby sea pony that I seem to recall believing the neighbor girl stole, but I don't remember who the pony was. I just remember at one point I thought Jenna had stolen a sea pony.

Other than that, only more accessories than I can count.

A long, long LONG time ago, I had these little horses that came in a plastic clear box. They looked like merri-go-round horses and they were colourful and had a pearly gloss - like the pearly baby ponies. Though they weren't My Little Ponies, I had really loved them. They came with a little plastic ice cream stand and they were about an inch long. I used to take them outside, and play with them in my garage. When I moved... I don't know what happened to them. It still bothers me. Plus, I don't know what they were called, so I can more likely than not - never find any ever again.

And, last year, I had ordered a So Soft Satin N Lace off eBay - I was waiting for her in the mail - and she never came. I was heartbroken. Then, one day, something came for me in the mail - it was her! I was so happy. Turns out the seller didn't write my address clearly and it was shipped to the wrong address, but, thankfully, the person sent it back to the post office and she was sent to me. <3

Other than that, I've never really lost any ponies. When it comes to keeping ponies in sight, I've got a hawk's eye, lol.

I lost my Gen 1 Applejack probably 20 years ago (I'm old, I confess). I looked forever, but never found her. Two weeks ago I fond her and Seashell, both missing their tails and covered, I mean COVERED, in filth in an old box in my shed with some Tupperwear of my mom's. How they got there or when and what happened to them, I dunno. I'm in the process of cleaning them up now. They're really dingy, even Magic Eraser isn't getting them bright again, but I'm glad to have them.

My niece recently lost her Fluttershy at my house, She'd been living with me while her mom 'got her act together'. Again. Anyhoo, we turned her into a raving pegasister while she was here and Fluttershy was her absolute favourite. When it came time for them to leave, we discovered she was missing. We retraced our steps, tore the house apart, nothing. I even went with a flashlight to the lake nearby because she'd had her there. Nothing. I was convinced she was lost for good, when I was packing her brother's clothes and there was Fluttershy in his dresser. He swore he didn't take her, but I know he did. Rotten little stinker. Poor niecey cried for days while she was lost and he said nothing. What a meanie.

No not yet. Other than the fact I gave my ponies away as a teenager. I really would freak alot if I lost a g1 pony.:shockpony:

I've had ponies since I was well... probably 3 years old and I know I brought them with me to daycare and school to play with.
As I got older I started to collect them instead of playing with them, but untill I discovered the internet I only knew about the ponies I had and that I had seen at friends houses.

Yet I could clearly picture two ponies that I didn't have nor had I seen anywhere. One was a tiny, yellow pony with pink mane and tail and the most beautiful butterfly wings. The other was a blue pony with rainbow coloured mane and tail and she had a pink gem on her head.
Granted, kids have a vivid imagination and for a long time I really thought I had just imagend those two ponies. Yet I had the nagging feeling that I had had two ponies that did look like that.

The years Went by and then one day I found the Dream Valley on the internet at age 11-12 and there I spotted Little Flitter and Star Gleamer and I instantly knew that it was those two ponies that I had had at some point.

So I'm gonna go ahead and guess that I did have those two ponies at some point as a child and that they were stolen from me or lost - 3 year olds aren't exactly the most organized creatures on the planet :winkpony:.

Other than that all my ponies are here safely with me :p

Woah:surprisepony:

That is the most amazing story I have ever heard:satisfied: I guess you and Baby Firefly where meant to be together forever:winkpony:

I lost a Dollymix Sundance and some G3 McDonalds ponies but found them again:LOL:

my scoops i currently have is actually replacement pony bought for me by my deviantart sould sister

I've lost many, many accessories from when I was little, but I don't care much about that, seeing as I never liked accessories. The only pony I ever lost was my 2005 McDonald's Butterscotch. I didn't actually lose her, my mom did. She confiscated Butterscotch because my sister and I kept fighting over her. She was on my mom's desk for a while, and then disappeared. I've since found another Butterscotch, but that memory sort of bugs me. Who knows? Maybe she's still in my mom's desk somewhere. I'm just glad it wasn't one of my regular ponies.

Haha, glad I'm not the only one this happens to. There are so many accessories of mine that are missing, it's not even funny.

The only pony I remember actually losing was G3 Pinkie Pie with the 3D cutie mark. It was within the last 2 years I believe, but once my sister and I took a large group of ponies to Oaks Park, an amusement park in Portland. She was the only pony that somehow turned up missing. I never saw her again... Luckily sometime later Skeen sent me a big awesome box of ponies that included another Pinkie Pie. My collection was complete again. <3

Yes sadly I lost my cakes babies.I that person that has a spread sheet saying where all my ponies are. So I was pretty up set that I lost the one. I was planning on buying a whole new set. But happily I found her again she was mixed up in some accessories.
