Hello everypony.
I just registered a couple days ago and thought it was time to introduce myself.
I am a Christian and have written several songs, mostly Gospel. I like many kinds of music, but mostly Bluegrass (My fist song was recorded professionally by a big name Bluegrass artist), Western, 50's & 60's Rock and Celtic.
I have some experience making websites and working with graphics.
I'm a child of the 1980's and was/am into many of the cartoons of that era like He-Man, Thundercats, Silverhawks, G.I. Joe, Transformers, Str Wars Droids, Star Wars Ewoks, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Real Ghostbusters, M.A.S.K., Gobots, Dungeons & Dragons, Care Bears, Smurfs and others. I have collected figures from some of their toy lines. I even, secretly, liked She-Ra, Jem & The Holograms, Sailor Moon, Strawberry Shortcake and My Little Pony.
I started watching a few My Little Pony cartoons when they had the human girl Megan come and visit them. At that time I wasn't all that into MLP, but around 2013 I gained more of an interest. I had seen parts of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic on the HUB Network and didn't really get into it until HUB had a marathon of every MLPFIM episode in order. I have been DVRing every episode since.
I just recently started collecting the blind bag figurines with wave 12. I had thought about getting a few MLP figures for a couple years and almost bought a blind bag once, but felt funny going down the "little girls" aisle of Walmart's toy department. I pressed on last month and got my first four blind bags! At the moment I have 29 sitting in front of my monitor and 11 in their bags (8 unopened) I'd like to trade.
With the release of the first Smurfs movie, I got back into the Smurfs, joined a forum for Smurf collectors and began collecting some of their figurines. I started writing a fanfic with a handicapped Smurf I invented and started drawing Smurfs. I have a website of my Smurf works that I'll gladly give you the URL to if you're interested. When I got into MLPFIM, I began my first MLP drawing, a pony to scale with a Smurf. LOL I hope to finish it and post it before long.
I like Sci-Fi and fantasy and am a big Star Wars fan. Lately I have collected Star Wars: Rebels figures, too.
I like to read books relating to and about some of the things I've mentioned above. I like to watch television and go to movies, and I have a big collection of DVDs.
I hope I haven't run on too long. LOL For more personal information look at the "About You" section of my profile.
