I have never been able to figure this out. I almost feel like I'm the only one with this problem since I've never heard anyone else mention it.
I have a number of ponies with dry hair. Yes, there are some severe and sadly unfixable ones, but I'm talking about the ponies that only have a moderate problem.
My main victim is Ice Crystal.
His hair is perfect and uncut with the exception of his tail. I've conditioned it several times, and right after the conditioning his tail seems fine again, but like a week later it just returns to how it was before.
It's like.. dry to the point of his tail not having that natural curve anymore, you know? It's not frizzy.. just DRY. I have tried like 4357034957034 different conditioners, including the moisture intensive stuff you get with hair dye, and sure.. it always works for a while. Like a couple days. I just gave him a bath about an hour ago and his tail is soft and silky.
But I can bet you Mimic's golden horseshoes that it will just go all dry again in a short time. Ugh it's so frustrating..
Help? :-(
