Hi everyone. I’m new here and in the process of selling off much of my pony collection to help fun renovating the first home ( a fixer upper ) my spouse and I mortgaged. surfing online trying to find a place to sell my ponies and have peace of mind they went to someone who would give them a loving home. doing this as became a very overwhelming and intimidating task.

Etsy, EBay, Kijiji, and Craigslist I did consider, but it’s nice to know the person who purchased the ponies really appreciate each and every one of them. That plus would not just chuck them swiftly up on EBay and exploit them for max prophet.

Not sure what the value is for what I had, so I did quick check on eBay to get and idea for a few, but ouch that’s way too crazy, I’m not looking to squeeze top dollar out of each of my ponies, just a modest, honest, fair value, where both sides are happy.

I’m in Canada and when It comes to shipping, I’m clueless the postage fees, especially with everything going up. So I’m like the blindfold girl. Toss in an estimate, find out if the packaging material I have home is okay or if the buyer wants to pay for packing costs too. But this will bump up shipping expenses. plus there is the insurance fees, this protects both sides should the parcel get lost in the postal system or arrive damaged due to poor handing by the mail carrier. Will ship within Canada or America, but consider sending to other countries. If I’m under the estimate shipping amount I will soak up the excess, if I’m over, will refund the extra. Please keep in mind I don’t live a walking or bus shuttle distance away from the post office. We live on a dirt road in the country and I’m fully dependant on my spouse for travel since I never learned how to drive. So I might have to work out a within reasonable time frame window for going to post office.

not sure what payment method is comfortable to everyone, I hope PayPal is okay. Yet it’s been a very long time since I used PayPal and I’m clueless on their fees.

I’m not good with explaining detail flaws, so I hope pictures will be fine. Will take a photo of what I have. If your see something that interest you but want more photos, let me know and I will do my best.

Im new here and have no buyer/seller feedback. but how does one get any feedback if no one is willing to gives them a chance.

I have lot of ponies to go through, I would like to sell them in complete sets, would save on constant frequent trips to the post office. if possible. Example TAF babies all 6 one set. But I understand that some collectors already have a near complete set and are looking for that certain pony to complete their collection. So yes I will break up the sets.
here are some photos of what I have so far. Yes there is more, when I get time will take and post more photos of the rest of my collection.

I am happy to sell you my kidney (your choice which one) and a first born child for the Mountain Boys. Lol

If you hop on over to our FAQ section we have compiled great tutorials to help with identifying, pricing and shipping ponies.

As a fellow Canadian if you’d like to send me a pm I am happy to help you with a fantastic and cheap shipping service I use all the time to get the best, fastest and most reliable shipping (aka not Canada Post).

This is a very sought after collection. You have some amazing pieces there. My suggestion is to research thoroughly before selling. Some of your accessories alone will bring you a good amount of money. I would love to have some of these but they are way out of my budget. Take your time and don't rush it. I'm sure someone on here can give you some pricing advise. Good luck with these, you are very lucky. :D

Haha, yes, what @Skybreeze and @Twinkle-eye and @OctoberMoon said! Your collection is amazing and there are several I'm very interested in, myself! I'm sure at least a few of us would be happy to make some offers and help advise!
I'm also curious about the doubled accessories for the Big Brother ponies.. each seems to have two bandannas with a slight difference, but I don't know anything about them!
At this point, some of us will take offers to Private Messages, so here is how to use those, if you need help with that. :)

I don't think there is anything wrong with trying to get the max for a pony, especially if you intend to renovate a house!

True!
Also, Lori, as others have advised it's good to be careful when you have exciting things for sale, so if anything in an exchange feels suspicious at any point, please don't hesitate to ask advice where everyone can weigh in (without revealing anyone's personal information, of course).

You really do have the creme de la creme of a collection, just off the top of my head I'd say you're looking at 7K-10K ballpark depending on some conditions. I myself am drooling over some of those accessories  I would say, take your time and do your research, we're happy to help too but you've got a lot of pony value there. The market can fluctuate but looking at sold listings is usually your best bet.

Your collection is absolutely amazing. You have such hard-to-finds here! Everyone else has said to take your time with research and that’s exactly what you should do. I myself are no good at pricing ponies, I’m just amazed at what ones you got

Are you very sure there’s not any you want to hold onto as favourites in case you might want them back again when they are hard to come across? I know a house is very important though

I do wonder this myself. You could certainly help with the renovations by selling some of these, but they aren't getting any easier to find.

Especially in these amazing conditions, if anything

I would love to buy SS Satin N Lace, too. I would be into getting Pretty Beat and her yellow guitar brush, also.

Pricing help:

Earlier this year I bought all 6 mountain boys for 1200 shipped (if that helps at all). They were in great shape. I had two of them already, but the person wanted to sell them in a set. I am mentioning in case that is a helpful starting point for you :)

Big Brother hats generally go for 20+ and the bandanas for 15+.

I bought the TAF babies this year - they weren't perfect, but I paid 100 for Milky Way, Love Medley, 150 for Sweet Tooth, 175 for Sugarberry, 200 for Up, Up, and Away. The only one I haven't bought recently is DB ... I think she goes for 200-250 ish last I saw.

I bought the pearlies this year - all 6 for 300.

I saw the two sisters (Sweetcake and Cupcake) go for 350 for the pair a few months ago.

Scribbles and Dabble are about 150 each. Dabble maybe a little less because she is faded.

I hope that is some pricing help. I won't be helpful for the Princesses. Their accessories bring in a LOT though

Thank You Kindly For offering to help me find another shipping method Skybreeze Will message you soon to enquire more.

Giggles Thank You Twinkle Eye. My favourite are the baby boy ponies, that I have yet to add to the photos. I will be very sad to see them go to new homes, but it warms my heart and gives me peace of mind knowing they will be loved and treasured too, hugs.

OctoberMoon Thank You Kindly for your advice, personally I’m not a fan of splitting everything apart. However would take into consideration should anyone have interest in only certain accessories.

Thank You Kindly Jellybean yes I’m always open for offers. And I would rather see them go to everyone here on this loving post. Not a fan of eBay, true they need to take a cut of the sale, but I rather give everyone a fair chance on this loving place and save everyone the extra cost. The big boy ponies with hats, the bandana on their neck is original, but the darker extra bandanas from what the yard sale seller told me, they were custom made and given to her as a gift. Hope this clarifies your question for you.

Thank You Draco I be delighted for you to message me with an offer.

Hugs Thank You Twinkle-Eye for you tender loving care to make sure I get a fair price for each of my ponies and I’m in no way short changed In the process.

Thank You for your friendly advice Jellybean. Will respect everyone privacy in doing so. Hugs,

Thank You Gingerbread. I do have some ponies that have blemishes. A few with their names marked under their hooves, However the majority is in lovely condition.
Thank You StormMaker, it would be nice to keep some of my top favourites. But funds is much needed to fix up our home so we can live with peace of mind that no expensive problems will arise in the future. Resulting in urgent need of swift funds.

Thank You Jellybean I’m aware once I sell many of these and more, it will become harder to find and more pricey to buy in the future. So I made peace with myself that a home is grater of a need, and these ponies are more deserving to be out in the open in a display, ready for light play than stuffed in a bin never to see the light of day and void of being being held in loving tender care.

Thank You StormMarker Hugs.
Darklys I’m open to offers, please be so kind to let me know if you like with their accessories too or just pony. I do have an extra Sugarcake however she has marker under one of her hooves. I did hear that sun fading can fade the marker out, however it’s wise to cover the pony body and hair exposing only the hoof.

Jellybean I’m not good at pricing barnacle or crumpet. But since you enquired, these two I can take more photos send them to you this way you have a better idea of their condition and can base your offer on this. One question, are you interested in Barnacles accessories too, original hat bandana, and brush or just the pony.

Darklys are you interest in just the so soft satin lace pony and her accessories or just the pony. Pretty beats with yellow guitar she has black ink under one of her hooves. Just to give you a hooves up. Thank You kindly for adding a price check in your post. Hugs.

Thank You Uftaki, Hugs.

Thank You all for your kind advice, tips, smiles, and inquiries. This is just the tip of the iceberg for I have much much more to go through and post. Will work on a for sale thread. For all you have enquired on this post, I will put these Ponies on hold for you. For those that messaged me already, I will get back to you as soon as I can. Keep in mind renovations sometimes needs two people to get the job done.

If you see something you like, sent me a message with your offer, once we come to an agreement. I will work on prepping your pony for mail travel. Please be so kind to let me know your packaging preferences, Box, bubble envelope etc.. along with insurance, tracking, and more.

If there are some ponies you love to have but you need to pool funds together first. I can put them on hold for you within a reasonable amount of time. Just keep in mind it’s a first come first serve. Meaning if big brother with the cowboy hat and accessories are on hold for someone else, You will have to wait until the person chances their mind. Or they went past the ( on hold ) time frame window.

I’m not good at explaining flaws or imperfections. So every pony enquiry will come with more photos on every angle I can get of the pony. Save photos to your tablet, computer, phone, etc. then zoom to get a better view of the overall condition of the pony. Same with accessories too. I feel it’s best to see the condition first, this way it makes it more comfortable to put in an offer.

I hate to ask you to separate Princesses from their accessories, but I'm interested in many of them, if they are not on hold yet. I have all princesses except Moondust (yellow with pink hair) and many of them are missing their hats and wands and Bushwoolie friends. I don't own ribbons for any of them. I'm most especially interested in the purple Bushwoolie that came with Princess Starburst (yellow with purple hair) because I still have my Starburst from childhood but lost her Bushwoolie back then. They are fantastic sets though so I completely understand if you prefer not to separate them.

For Barnacle, I'm most interested in his hat but I will take the whole set. Thank you for the info about the bandannas. Did the seller say anything about the duplicate hats?

Thanks for answering all our posts! I imagine this is a bit overwhelming so I will try to be patient and not TOO excited. :ponylove:

I am glad you have managed to make peace with yourself for your ponies. A home is very important. You can’t build a house out of ponies and you’d need a home to live comfortably in in the first place. I wish you the best of luck with your sales and your home! You’ll have peace of mind with the pony people here with them because each sale you make will definitely make someone’s day and somebody’s pony wishes come true :Flutter4:

I am interested in buying Mountain Boys, Mimic, Wigwam, Princesses and Tuneful so please PM me if you list these ponies on Ebay.
