It’s starting!!

About mid morning today IT started. The doomed and terrible first snow of the season.

I wish snow would get the hint that we only want it for Dec. 23-26th that’s it, that’s all.

My annual loathing has started as I’ve now shovelled my and both our neighbours driveways and sidewalks. *sigh* Winter is the worst, sorry to those who like it.

I love snow. However, the shoveling thing is going to be a problem if we get much snow this year. I would only have to do the walkway leading to my door, but it would be risky. My knee and back continue to get worse.

We haven't gotten any snow yet this year so far all we've gotten is a small pile of sleet an my neighbors house.

Snow is beautiful in moderation. We get just enough to make me smile. I'm sorry you have to deal with it all fall/winter and probably into spring! I do enjoy your doggy in the snow vids though

It’s pretty Christmas morning. Then I’m totally over it all. I just need to move to a warm climate to appreciate it. Although I’ve made some purchases to try and get the most of winter this year. :/

Lol BC folk are hilarious when it snows. Sorry but the rest of the country does laugh every year y’all get that one big snow that shuts down the province. But if I lived close by I would help you and dog you out, sounds like you have good neighbours that will help you if you need it.

On Christmas it’s pretty. Otherwise no. I’m over 10, and over the cold, slush, shovelling, driving, extra layers upon layers. We just need to move. Lol Ha ha!!! I took some cute video of Fred playing in the fresh stuff first thing this morning. Clover hates it though. Fred is the only member of this family that lives the snow.

Agreed. I feel like we all knew it was coming but you’re never really prepared for it. Lol I’m mostly sad that I have to put away my sandals and bring out socks and boots.

It's starting to look like we might be having a hard winter because the ponies were fluffing out a few weeks before whiter even started and a box I got from the neighbor was covered in a thin layer of ice after sitting out a few hours, at least we have some fire wood gathered.

Ugh, I hate the COLD. Snow is like, take it or leave it. Cold is the worst.
Also, I have like, intense panic attacks about car rides in snow after a bad experience a few years ago. So, snow is cool...as long as I don't have to go anywhere.

we got our first snow here at the new place a week or two ago- right now it's been melting since temp's gone up a bit. quite a bit for our first snow but it could've been worse i kinda enjoy it

I would happily trade spots with you. ;p Fred is the only reason I will slightly tolerate and appreciate the snow. He’s just so pure and adorable.

Same. I associate cold and snow interchangeably, especially since my surgery I’m having a difficult time regulating my body temperature so I’m always cold now.
I try my best to not drive in fresh snow falls, wait until they’ve been cleared before I go out.
I agree. Bears have it right to sleep through the gross weather. We can set up a warm cozy pony cave and all have fun with ponies and warmth and forget about other stuff until the spring comes. Lol
