"This is your flight captain, Rainbow Dash, speaking! Please keep all hooves, horns, wings, and other appendages inside the plane at all times. Make sure to fasten your seatbelt--This flight's about to get at least 20% cooler "
What better pony to take on a trip than the adventurous Rainbow Dash?
What's this? This plane is just full of pony people! Hi, Darcerin!
Even though the flight was short--only an hour--we had enough turbulence for a 6-hour flight! The landing was rough, and something under us made a loud snap when we hit the ground, but all arrived safely.
.....We think the pilot may have had too much caffeine.
After hailing a van-size taxi, the four of us (me, Darcerin, Okore, and my non-pony friend) headed to the Renaissance hotel, where we were pleased to find a lovely room, complete with the swankiest hotel bathroom I've ever seen:
See, we apparently had a handicap-accessible bathroom, complete with about 40 industrial gripping bars, enough floor space to sleep 3 people had we wanted to, and a phone next to the potty.
Our view wasn't fantastic, but we did get a lot of light in through our window.
This was our view.
This was Kar Red Roses's room's view.
See the difference? XD
Thursday night, Whippetluv was putting the final touches on her giant animatronic Chief made from a FurReal Butterscotch pony.
See her thread about Chief here:

No more blank flank!
Whippet also made a lovely sign for our hotel room door. She did that in about 10 minutes. No joke. Isn't it lovely?
Friday morning, we got breakfast at an IHOP (first time for me, lol!) then piled in the motorcoach bus to go to Hasbro. We were all really excited...
...Especially Whippetluv.
I couldn't take pictures of anything on the tour or at Hasbro, but we saw some prototypes and got to talk to the designers and hand painters, and learn about the process by which ponies are made, and the machines that create them.
One thing I KNOW I saw for sure, was the Fashion size Rainbow Dash. YAY!
We also went to their media center, and studio where they film the commercials and all that stuff. Which, as you can imagine, was of particular interest to myself.
Speaking of which, after the Hasbro tour was the premiere of my film, My Little Obsession!
A few hundred people showed up for the two showings, and it was a lot of fun (albeit slightly nerve-wracking for yours truly).
I'm still trying to find pics from the premiere, so if you have any, please email them to me!! MustBeJewel @ Gmail.com.
More info at the official website, My Little Obsession - Home
After the last showing, I was honored by a beautiful bouquet of silk purple roses and awesomely cute socks, and a gift basket of stress-relief stuff by a sneaky sneaky group of pony friends.
:bighug:
There's eucalyptus spearmint stuff from Bath & Body Works, a sleep mask, purple loofa, a really comfy sleep mask, and a canister of Teavana Tulsi Dosha Chai tea
THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to those!! :bighug:
Saturday morning was the vending and games part of the Fair!
I had a fun little display going for My Little Obsession, including the director Rainbow Dash that rowdy_cowgirl's mom made for me
If you want a copy of the DVD and haven't gotten one yet, order here:

How awesome is that!
I shared a table with Whippetluv, who did watercolor paintings while you wait. And they were GORGEOUS if I do say so myself!
The cosplays were great this year!!
Some of the pony standups that were offered for raffle
Fluttershy, with a strange notice behind her...
Oh, right.
Nearby, there were some prototypes and molds displayed, as they have been at previous Fairs. They're always so neat to see!
Hasbro got us a cake! I didn't have any but I heard I wasn't missing much lol
Banners! These went up for raffle too.
Some MLPTP regulars
Later that evening, without the energy to do much, I hooked up the projector I'd brought for the movie screening and... well, what else? Projected MLP episodes straight onto our hotel room wall
For our last day, Sunday, we mostly rested, then headed out to Dave & Buster's for a late dinner and some leisure fun time. That place is pretty awesome.
We also learned that Ren is a pro fruit ninja.
And with that, we bid farewell to Providence early Monday morning:
"This is your captain again! Please stow all carry-on stuff under your seat or in the bins above you. Ask a flight pegasus if you need assistance. Be careful when opening overhead bins, as your luggage may have shifted during rainbooms. Thank you!"
And now, onto the goodies!
