My local wal-marts clarence is full of G5, they have so many they moved it to a shelf at checkout. 3$ for a plush isn't bad but I don't want to pay money for something I don't like.G5 is dead at my store, they've even filled in the place where ponies once were with random dolls, I think once they clear out the ones in the clearance stuff I probably won't be seeing anymore of them.
They marked down the Sunny/Twilight 2 pack to $6 at my store so I picked up a few for ~experiments~My local wal-marts clarence is full of G5, they have so many they moved it to a shelf at checkout. 3$ for a plush isn't bad but I don't want to pay money for something I don't like.
That's so fair, but most of the ones on sale are the tiny polly pocket sets, or the plushes. I don't think we got literally any of the good toys, the few that there are;;; I wouldn't be temped to get them to customize/experiment with either tbh because I hate their sculpts and face like a lot of other people been saying. Their faces... man....... The dragon looks cool, but I don't think I'll find it anywhere near me, and.... I'm not going to order it online..... Looking at the teenage? dragon toy and I'm actually intrigued by it. Looks like something I would have drawn in high school and I'mall for it lol. Do the g5 dragons go from bipedal to quadrupedal tho?
I got them for their heads. Cause while I agree, I don't think they make good ponies, I do think they would make great anthro pony dolls. I need to sit down and figure out the neck plug situation thoThat's so fair, but most of the ones on sale are the tiny polly pocket sets, or the plushes. I'm really disappointed to be honest. Seriously, they could be playing around with different pony sizes, and two styles of wings, and they just... Keep redoing the same two characters. I know in the original post, I pointed out how bad it got around middle to late G3 and 3.5, but it looks like G5 actually has it worse.I went to Ollie's yesterday, which is a store in the northeast U.S.. It's a huge store that buys all the things that don't sell from other stores (great deals). They had so much G5 stuff I can't even tell you. I've never seen so much Pony collected together all at the same place. It was mostly Sunny and Izzy stuff. In fact, I'm not sure I saw any other ponies but them ...but TONS of them.
G5 has the most wing style variety- the Hoof-to-Heart line gives Zipp and Pipp different wings. The small brushables have the closed wings, while the large fashion styles have open wings. I love the fashion style wings, especially the different colors they use for Sunny. Those are very similar to the Style of the Day wings. Singing Pipp also has her own style of wings, as she was given really nice, soft, and fuzzy ones. It seems they might be done with Hoof-to-Heart and the fashion style ponies, though, which is a big shame. I really like them! Sunny's smoothie cart, the big teal one with the light up sign, is my favorite MLP toy ever!Seriously, they could be playing around with different pony sizes, and two styles of wings, and they just... Omg, that's too cute! The Ponyville line has definitely grown on me. G3.5 isn't the most well-loved, but when you shrink down objectionable designs, they just become so much cuter. There's definitely better proportions on the miniatures as well.Haha I do consider ponyville and g3.5 to be the same thing, sorry about that! They just look the same to me and have the same vibe
However I agree that they are both super cute and definitely have my favorite playsets of any gen (except the g3 dance studio maybe), the gum ball machine, minty’s Christmas tree and this little swing thing? Adorable ^_^

I think I even saw a little fridge fully stocked with teeny food for them once
Haha right? Making a thing tiny always makes it cuter, it’s scienceMany bronies

Exactly! That's why I truly appreciate some sellers, like members of this very site, who are honest and fair right off the bat. I have and will continue to go back to them time and time again! This one is really controversial. I wish MLP fans wouldn't price ourselves out of our own hobby, by selling ponies for extravagant prices. Why do we roll our eyes and scoff at people who sell/pay $40 for Snuzzle, but give someone an immediate pass for selling/paying $900 for Rapunzel? They're just hunks of cheap, horse-shaped plastic toys meant for little kids, and kids at heart.
That's why when I eventually decide I want to bother clearing out extras and the box of later gen stuff it will either be trade or free. I already have a job, I don't want ponies to be another one. They're just hunks of cheap, horse-shaped plastic toys meant for little kids, and kids at heart.
That reminds me of a lab back in university years ago. There was some tiny little 10mL erlenmeyer flasks. Everyone had to pick them up.Haha right? Making a thing tiny always makes it cuter, it’s science
